Direct drive is really silent. My old washing machine was also LG, but was not direct drive.

The 1 hour programme is very good. Clothes are cleaned very well. Felt it a lot better than my old IFB Digital Washing Machine.

Posting this review after 12 days of usage.. after so much of research bought this machine.. initially thought of going for Bosch 7kg but at last dropped it as I read few reviews on its low pressure error.. We stay on the terrace which is on 3rd floor and water pressure is roughly about 5-6ltrs/min when the tank is full :) - with this pressure this LG washing machine works fine.. being front end it's washing quality is also impressive.. all together it's a happy purchase.. thanks to Amazon for providing it for a good lightening deal 👍

Like all washing machine you can't use all clothes at once meaning you need to wash day to day other wise it wouldn't be cleaned
