I have been using this TV for a year now and just purchased a second one of the same make and model. If you know a bit about TV technology and do not just go by the advertisements, then this is the TV to buy. Good picture quality at a decent price.

I was looking for a reasonably priced large television to watch sports and that I could hook up to my computer to watch movies/tv shows and play games and I'm very happy with it for that purpose. The blacks are fantastic and the picture quality is excellent. Plasmas don't look as good in very brightly lit stores compared to LEDs but at home, in real world lighting the blacks are uncomparable, the picture quality is great and the high refresh rate is perfect for watching anything which would usually suffer from motion blurr. The only down side to this screen is due it being 720p text doesn't look very good when you have a pc connected to it, but at this price 1080 would be a lot to ask for.

The Product is awesome.I have not purchased it from flipkart as because it was not available at that time.I am using the TV for atleast 2 years.I didnt faced any types of problem.I am a happy customer of LG as well asFlipkart.

Was looking for a TV in the Sub 35k Range and this beauty met all of my said needs in the price point of my choice. Have been using it for the past 2 weeks and the performance has been awesome to say the least. The output is just too good to mention with Flipkart doing awesome work in terms of Delivery and making it avaible in a day to my place. The blacks are the blackest and i have really enjoyed showing it off to friends as well as is the best companion in small get togethers i keep doing. All in al Plasma is the way to go guys.

I was little confused before buying this as i had samsung 43inch plasma also as an option but i went to a and clearly foubd the difference in display ... lg way better...only downside is lack of audio jack and one hdmi port...but display contrast is much better than others in market...plays 1080p too with great quality...

Watching this TV for past few days, very good TV. Delivered on time and LG had set up in one day. Very good TV and Happy with the product so far.

im very hpy from this product (using it for more than 6 months). It is a very nice product from LG and in this range it is the best TV available in the market. I again bought a new one for jst 20k on the Big Billion Day. Initially my order was cancelled. But after a few days i got a mail from flipkart that ur order will renewed. i thought that it is a new trick by flipkart but after a few days flipkart got me the same tv at the same price. Now coming on to the tv. Pros : 1)Slim border 2) Very Stylish Stand 3) Supports all the formats of videos which are not even supported by Samsung TV like .mkv and .flv 4)High brightness and HDTV 5)Good Audio Quality COns : Not Applicable for this one :)

the tv is excellent,plays externals hd's very well,good for gaming too...use hd cable boxes for better picture

What else can we expect at this price for a TV? If you are not worried about Power consumption, Its the best one for viewing distance of 8 ft. Its not a fancy one but defenitely a quality one. Awesome viewing experience. Coming to Flipkart, They did it again. Delivery in less than 24hrs. Great !!!

I must say that plasma is better than LED or LCD. Because it give natural colors. About this product: Sound quality is good, visuals are best, software and user interface is simple.

Well got this product on the big billion day , bought a 32inch Philips LED which got cancelled thankfully but got this one "LG 42 Inch Plasma TV" Initially was bit concerned about the technology sonce LED has more upperhand than plasma these days . About the TV Its big , slim with some superb feature looks really nice both table top and wall mount , picture quality is just amazing you cant really make out diff between a LED & Plasma with naked eyes as it looks the same . Sound too its osum . Plays almost all video formats . Only cons is less no of HDMI & USB Ports About the delivery Well did had to wait for 72 hours to get this delivered coz of Big billion day rush . Packing was good and LG installed the TV within 16 hours post delivery . Overall very very very satisfied with this TV definately recommend this one , value for money . Again Thanks Flipkart for making it happen ....

I bought this TV on Diwali. I got it on 5th Nov, though it could have been delivered earlier, but Flipkart managed to deliver it before the time committed. LG tech team was super fast and installed the TV in no time. The Picture quality is very good and HD movies are awesome to watch. My room is decently lit, but i have no issues. As expected there are some glares here and there (due to the glass frame) but they are hardly noticeable. The remote is easy to use and should not be a concern (as its hardly used when using along with a DTH) The TV does what it should and its a great buy at this price. May be another HDMI port would be desirable, but not a show stopper certainly (considering that you can buy HDMI hub for 400 bucks from the market) I would certainly recommend this product

LG is the best in electronics and Plasma s the best in terms of viewing technology the delivery from flipkart was prompt and the demo and wall mounting from LG was promt too Dont miss it

I purchased this product on big billion day but my order has been cancelled due to the overwhelming response on the Big Billion Day(Oct 6). after a long conversation with flipkart they placed a new order behalf of me with cash on delivery as the payment mode and i received the product on 3rd Nov without any issue.only problem i faced is the lg tech team, the tv is completely ok but the lg people are asking for installation and demo charges which was completely free of cost,so i called to flipkart and raised a ticket they solved the problem and sended a tech person on nov 7th.thank you WS_Retail :)

Got the TV on the scheduled day.. very smooth delivery by flipkart. Got for very low price actually and comparingly other shops i got around 8k difference. Installation and fixing things happened within a day done by LG team. product is awesome.!! Instead of LED and LCD i found this one is very good and has more life.

Full value for money. Best bet for a budget plasma TV. I was seeing whether to get the Full HD LED by Micromax Vs this. Finally chose the Plasma and extremely happy with it

Flipkart experience - 3 star (painfully) They goofed up the delivery with auto cancellation, then 4 weeks of followup by me, wrong COD price with painful followups on wallet-my account transfer, then recently rejection of promised cashback and fight for it to get it back. 3 star is for a good ending, otherwise it would be 1 star. Alert - Keep evidence of your conversations with fk - especially in special circumstances or else fk outrightly rejects any such promises made. The reps don,t log what they promise in the tickets we raise. Better record the whole conversation on your smartphone to reduce the frustrations and followups. However, the product quality kept recharing my energy lost with fk. :) Product review: I bought this one after a lot of reviews (accepting limitations). Installation was a breeze... full marks for that. Only 1 USB slot and 1 HDMI. : Movies get stuck often in >4GB pendrives.(tried different brands and movies too). Speakers are not pleasing badly asking for a soundbar to watch movies. But voice is too good. DonBadly needs a soundbarNo surround sound decoding in the monitor audio. Do not depend on the TV audio processing, but voice processing is good.No bass in the speakers better to hook up external speakers. btw, there is only SPDIF audio out option.(minus the surround processing). Picture Quality is amazing - I use DTH Airtel (HD) where even SD channels appear good. HD-ready resolution never bothers even when you connect PC (via HDMI) - it is decent to read text and I have played games without any issues. To take it to next level or for the tech-savvy folks, it is still not full HD. Here, if not for upscaling of SD channels, I would have opted for a micromax LED TV (used only for display). One caution - make sure no direct sunlight hits the screen while watching TV otherwise the picture quality is too good! RF, DVB-T options are almost useless these days (most of us use STBs). It is 3 months now and not faced any problems (touchwood!!) and hence cannot comment on the LG service. BTW, I bought this TV for a good deal of 29000/- with 2000/- fk wallet cashback (which I got after painful followups). Overall, for the price and screen size this TV is ideal(and balanced) for the current display technology in India.

I ordered for LG42 PN4500 during the big billion day and was lucky enough to order despite the heavy traffic. However I was keen on picking only this TV on the day and I had only this in my cart. I had shortlisted this TV for more than 6 months back and was in my cart for 6 months. Would be comparing prices most of the days and was waiting for a discounted price which I thought would be a good deal. So tried during Onam season when the price reached almost to 29K. However ddn't tak the plunge as I thought diwali is coming so may be some more discounts. Then one day the big billion day banner came up, so extended my purchase to the 6th October 2014. To my dismay the prices were rolled back to the MRP the day before the billion day sale. Morning newpapers front page advertisement showed great discounts starting from 7 am. So the sale was on. Was refreshing my cart every time from 9 am to see whether discount is being given to this TV, then around 1.30 when I refreshed the cart, the price was almost 50% less. The order was placed but not sure whether it was accepted as I ddn?t receive any message in this regard. In the my orders page however my order was posted. The delivery was on 7th Oct, 2014. Since I was not home on 7th , I scheduled my delivery on 8th at between 5-6 pm. Got a message regarding this so I was sure my order was accepted. Received the message of the order next day. The TV was delivered around 5.45. So 5 star as always for the prompt and timely delivery to Flipkart/WS retail/Ekart. I also got the interest as cash back propmptly. The LG installation was scheduled on 9th, The service engineer came promptly however he came with the wrong wall mount as I had mentioned only 42 inches TV without specifically mentioning it?s a plasma. So he told he would come the next day with the compatible wall mount. So the TV was finally installed on 10th. One thing worth mentioning is that one can be pretty sure the TV will be a fresh one. As in the case of brick and mortar stores one may be passed off a showroom demo piece, whereas here nothing like that happens. This was told by the LG service engineer who came for installation. However I checked the usage hours and it was 0. So no more doubts regarding the product and I got a September 2014 manufactured TV. So now the TV burn in period of 250+ hours in the low contrast , brightness, picture sharpness etc. is over. I am using airtel HD connection. Also purchased an extended warranty/AMC for 3 years@6000+. Regarding picture quality there is a visible judder while viewing only limitation is mild judder during panning shots. Image looks hazy when there is panning and are back to normal when it stops. But for HD channels it was not there. Only the SD Channels have this problem. Verified with the LG technician after complaining about the same to LG. Apart from this the clarity of pictures are great with true colour reproduction. Audio is also good. If u want to use external speakers normal speakers with RCA will not work, u need coaxial cable speaker. The other limitation is only 1 HDMI and USB port. Image retention is there. It detects USB hard disks at ease. As of now with four months usage satisfied with the purchase and would give a 5 star to the purchase. Thanks Flipkart

can get a real clarity picture and a gem of a tv this is.. bought this tv from SHAHS electronics pic clarity is superb.. i feel its better than LED tv.. plays all formats mkv mpeg mp4 mp3 jpeg i even put my external hard disk in usb slot which it recognizes the partitions of HDD too.. great product from LG Using it from 2 years and working flawlessly
