I was little doubtful about the product. But, the webOS, magic remote, wifi, ethernet, miracast, 3D and what not. I use my android phone for controlling this TV than magic remote.

I purchased this TV during the Big Billion day sale. Despite the now well-known system and service hiccups on that day, I am proud to say that I am now the proud owner of this wonderful TV. Pros: 1) Excellent pic & sound quality 2) Sleek and trendy design 3) Magic remote is a delight with its innovative functions and as an Universal remote which controls my TataSky HD box as well 4) Gr8 3D effects 5) My Galaxy S4 mobile smoothly screenshares with the TV 6) Watch Youtube streaming vdos on TV while controlling the same thru your mobile device/laptop/PC 7) Browse FB/Twitter/Instagram etc with the big screen effect Cons: Camera has to be bought separately to use Skype. A recommended buy for sure.

This is very good TV, also quick delivery from Flipkart. Also LG representatives responded quickly to install it.

hi, if we buy TV on online LG has mentioned that there is no warranty has to claim, flipkart kindly request you to update on this. LG product are good for that i give 5, but warranty ????????

Finally decided to take the plunge and purchase this on flipkart after nearly a month of driving my wife mad with constant visits to electronic shops and online research. Nearly bought a model without 3D until I saw a youtube video of this model. The good,bad and ugly (well nothing really ugly about it) is as follows: 1) LG's implementation of WEBOS definitely does help as its pretty easy to figure out and use. 2) 42 LED, SMART and 3D at a 55k exchange price is fabulous. Pretty much future proof unless youre the type who wants to boast about your big 4K UHD screen for which content isnt even easily available!! 3) The magic remote is a breeze and since its smaller it fits better in your hand. Once you get used to it I think it'll be hard to go back to a normal remote. Small Niggles I've had so far: 1) Had a bit of trouble on the wifi. While its easy to setup, if you do not have adequate signal most of the apps just hang. I thought this was a problem with the TV till I downloaded a netgear app on my phone to check wifi signal and then realised my wifi signal strength at the TV point was only 15%. Placing the wifi router in a different part of the house solved this and the apps are back to being smooth. Also I have had to go to wifi 2) LG does not mention anything about keyboard support. While there are random posts on the net it would be nice to have a list of keyboards because typing a long mail is not what the magic remote is meant for. Neither would I want to spend a couple of thousand on a wireless keyboard and then realise that it is not compatible. All in all I think this was a good buy. Its serves my purpose to watch TV serials both through set top and through streaming video sites. Its pretty handy as a mini backup computer as well while my family is on my main system provided I can get a keyboard going.

Every segment in this tv is great. Performance is simply superb. Its completely a worth for 56k. I suggest everyone who are looking for a tv in between 55-65k can simply go for this. This is not just a TV, it will almost work as a PC.

Ordered this TV through the Flipkart exchange offer before diwali and got the delivery on the specified date and time. Then I called up LG customer care to book an appointment for the installation which happened 2 days after the delivery. The TV is just awesome is what I have to say in a single statement. The magic remote coupled with the 3D contents is fantastic. The picture quality and the sound output are also very good. I feel it is worth a buy for the price offered by Flipkart. Special thanks to Flipkart team not only for the deal they offered, but also for the good packing and delivery of the product as promised. The only negative thing about this TV which I feel is that there only one audio output slot (the headphone output slot at the back). I would preferred an audio output slot to connect my wireless headphone at the side of the TV.

The item is too good. I had been using CRT TV for a long time and amazed to see all these features this TV is offering. It supported my 1TB external harddisk. Online browsing, skype, youtube are great. It has inbuilt 2D to 3D converter which is great too.

Just got the TV 2 days back and i have connected it to my Philips home theater , sound is definitely amazing .Picture quality rocks with every detailing on the screen . Amazing service in regards to shipment. Amazing Service from LG but still didn't receive the wall mount. 3D quality rocks. Picture quality rocks.. I got a very good deal with market price of 98k, got it for 72k (with exchange of old tv) on Flipkart. This TV is with Indian warranty so no hassles with LG India. A++ remarks for flipkart , got delivered with in 24hrs of placing the order. And surprisingly LG Customer care was very efficient, technician returned the call for installation with in 2 hrs of placing the request( Impressed LG India). The installation was scheduled in the evening and the engineer ware prompt on time and finished the installation within 15 min. The wall clamp supplied bu LG was not the basic one, but has Swivel and tilt function So A++ on that as well. I am happy with the performance of the TV, This model comes with all bells & whistles along with magic remote which is very handy (built-in Universal remote function as well which works with out any fuss). Also need to mention the new WEB OS interface of TV which makes all the functions of the TV easy accessible.

I have bought this tv 2 months back. The picture and Sound quality is great. Getting a 47 inch 3D smart TV at this price is unbelievable. Kudos to Flipkart, for their quality shipping and handling. After a monthI noticed that Flipkart had refunded the amount because the TV price got changed. Could you believe that. Which online retail or any other shop does that.

Excellent TV. The Picture Quality is just too good. The Smart Remote that comes along with it is really smart and minimalistic. Its so easy to watch really good 3D content. Just plug in your USB and done. I would highly recommend this TV.

Initially I thought the screen size is too large - but don't feel it after mounting on wall. It is a great product - the picture quality, webOS interface, remote and smart TV features. LG has made a mark in the displays. All displays at home are LG - computer monitor, LCD TV and LED TV, all IPS panels. The best features of the TV are- 1. Smart connect (different connectivity - USB external hard disk, Pendrive, sharing from laptop, mobile, PC) 2. Smart Screen (screen mirroring) is so simple. It just works with Samsung mobile, Sony mobile 3. 3D effect is too good. Free 3D content is also there are short video and documentary clips. 3D glasses are light and don't hurt. Only limitation I felt was when I connected external hard drive, it supports only FAT32 (I think).

Value for money product .. extremely lucky to receive an awesome latest LG product Functionality :- working to the mark as specified per LG spec... checked all options - very much satisfied. Highly recommend friends to choose this model if again Flipkart brings with an offer more than 45% :-)

I am very very happy with this TV. My TV viewing experience has gone to the next level.. excellent display and clarity. 3D is just awesome.. almost like a theatre.. got it for 53k on exchange offer. Flipkart delivered the product on the next day itself. Everything is teally good..

Its been a week of usage by now. Cons: I did not get Miracast (to mirror mobile displayto TV and vice versa) working yet. Some of such connectivity apps are not available in India it says. Also very few apps in LG store No gmail, facebook or any such popular apps Pros: Video / Sound quality is good Connectivity is also decent. Youtube videos mirror perfectly well.

I bought this last week from Flipkart and so far my experience with this product is really good. Some of the basic pros and cons which i felt from my short experience Pros - Excellent Picture quality - Though it says 100 Hz you woudn't find any picture lags when watching sports - 3d is simply amazing. I watched few 3d movies and it played with ease - 3d glasses are light weight and doesnt affect your eyes. you get 4 glasses and u can enjoy watching it with your family. Other Active 3D tv's only offer 2 glasses - Web OS is simply amazing. Have tried the Smart share and browsing. Works like a charm - With Smart share you can connect any of your devices connected to the same WiFi network. No additional apps need to be installed in your system or mobile. Except for iphone, any other device can be connected. I was able to stream a movie directly from my laptop to TV just by right clicking and share it with LG TV from my laptop - No hassles during exchange. I ordered on Fri and got it delivered on Sat. They keep the new one and take the older one Cons - Very few options for Iphone users. You cannot share your screen with TV if you own an Iphone. However you can watch Youtube videos in tv when playing from your iphone through the you tube app in TV. You jus need to pair ur mobile. I think android supports screen sharing but I have not tried it - No glasses for kids size. You may need to purchase a new one for kids size. Since its pasasive, the glasses are cheap. You can get another one for less than 250 Rs - TV Volume is a bit low compared to other models - At times you might see the visuals moving fast. This might be due to refresh rate but happens rarely - Installation and demo is done separately. The ppl who delivers the tv will not do it. You have to call and schedule ur installation and demo - It has an inbuilt memory. However I was unable to record any tv channels. The installation guy told me tht i cannot record if i have airtel dth. Although some DTH like hathway have no restrictions which allows to record - Does not support skype unless you buy an LG camera. Does'nt come with inbuilt camera. Have tried to connect my web cam through USB but it didnt work Overall the product is really a grab for this price. You may find it cheap in other online shopping sites but if you wanna exchange this is the best price you could get.

Recently brought this 42 LB6500 TV on the occasion of Independence day. Unfortunately my old TV died with a blown picture tube. Visited lot of electronic outlets, online sites etc before finalizing to get it from a nearby reliable store. Got a good deal, a good 4K less than the cheapest deal available online. The TV was shipped the next day due to the rush. Assembled the TV ourselves, the instructions were very simple to follow. The initial setup got completed in a few mins and it started. Super display, good sound for home use. 3D conversion from 2D is okish, but the actual 3D contents looks awesome with those passive glasses (trust me, the passive glasses were as effective as active glasses for 3D contents). Supports lot of video and image file types. Though the cast screen/miracast is pain at times with a nexus device. I have Nexus 5, and its 80-20 chances that you connect with the TV Totally worth with features it offers and the price. Cheers!

I recently bought this LED from snapdeal after roaming alot of places online and physically as well. I bought this LED for 62K and its totally worth it. For better picture quality you could go for Sony at the same price, but the best part is the WEB OS and 3D which steals the show from others. Picture quality is great. Please don't go for 42LB5800 as the picture quality is inferior and you just have to put in 10K extra and you will get 4 3D glasses/Magic Remote and a really better refresh rate. Sound is OK like it has all surround sound and everything, but is not that high in case of viewing from usb. TV channels are pretty loud even if i keep the sound at 15. This TV almost plays everything. It played 90% of the files. It didn't play .flv that is the only file that i noticed it didn't play. 3D on this tv works like a charm. Also i was suprised to find so many 3D titles online. No glitch in playing 3D movies at all. Make a note of buying a HD set-up box for this as connecting anything from AV cable doesn't give the clarity we want as the output is 576i for a 1080p LED. To conclude, this is a value for money product. If you have 10 K more go for LG 42LB6700, this is even better as the refresh rate is 200 H

Great picture, price and features. Has lot of SmartTV functions and can do many good things if you have a local Wifi connection. The TV remote is a smart remote and can control TataSKY set top box as well.

Long review, but hopefully worth it :) read on. Product:- 5 stars for the TV - this TV is rated at 100W - till now, I was unable to find this info online (only standby power is mentioned which is rather useless) - for those who are interested, this is the -TH variant, and not the -TA or -TB - the table top installation has the base occupying a width of about 36 inches, so check if your current setup can support that width (I found out the hard way) - magic remote is brilliant and very easy to use, but takes a bit of getting used to - especially for older folks who may not have a very steady hand (since you are practically waving a wireless mouse in the air) Pros: - table top installation is a breeze - just affix 4 screws for the base and you are set - awesome display (but then I am upgrading from a 29" CRT) - resolution upscaler works very well - my current SD cable channels themselves look great at about 8-10 feet (so HD will be awesome!) - pixellation is visible only if I am about 6 inches or less from the screen - 2D to 3D conversion actually seems to work fairly decently, though obviously not as great as native 3D content - plays multiple formats of audio and video from USB without a hitch - WebOS interface is easy to navigate through, and not very obtrusive Cons:- cut 1 star for overall minor issues - LG will take about 2 working days to install the TV (ideally should be same day as delivery) - hence I decided to do it myself since mine was a table top installation and not wall mounted - during initial setup, trial and error to figure out Set Top Box remote control mode is painful (worst case, you have to retry 17 times to find which works) - Wifi occasionally drops for no reason, so take the wired ethernet route if that is an option for you - you cannot use Skype even for just voice calls - it requires a camera to even start Skype (obviously you have to buy it from LG) - sound is ok, but the bass could have been better - maybe I just need to tweak some settings though - need to push the USB drive into the port rather hard - I was worried about damaging the port with the force I needed to put, but the TV seems solidly built - documentation is woefully inadequate - the user guide is more of an installation guide. Need more information about how to enable and tweak the multiple features of the TV and use the magic remote to its full capability - agreed it cannot be in the printed booklet, but at least have it as a PDF on the LG website. I'm still exploring and figuring out capabilities - will update the review if I find anything really bad or really great. Now on to the service side of the story. Ordering:- cut 1/2 star for ordering difficulties - bought during Big Billion sale, and had to endure server crashes and random errors about not shipping the product to my PIN code and vanishing from cart, but finally managed to place the order after trying for almost 1.5 hours - got a decent exchange offer for the old working CRT TV Delivery:- cut 1/2 star for delivery delays - scheduled delivery for 12th (Sunday) for the 11 am - 1 pm slot so that I'm home to receive it on weekend - WS Retail shipped the product at 12:50 am on Sunday and finally delivered on 14th (Tuesday) - I had to stay at home for this - Flipkart did not proactively notify me of the delay - I had to call customer care once it was delayed, and they seemed equally clueless about exactly when to expect it - even though the heavy rush due to large number of Big Billion deliveries may have stretched out timelines, Flipkart should have set expectations correctly rather than commit to one date and then delay - realize that customers also have other things to attend to and not just sit around waiting for Flipkart deliveries Overall, less than happy with Flipkart this time (though never had reason to complain in the past, so I'll ignore the Big Billion fiasco and give another chance). And the TV of course is definitely worth it.
