Lenovo has quickly grown to become one of the largest smartphone makers in the world, and notably acquired Motorola and Medion as part of its strategy to build its presence in various world markets. But apart from these sub-brands and the Lenovo name itself, the company also markets some of its products under the online-only Zuk brand.

Got 4GB/64GB variant for 12k and it was a steal deal for me. The phone is blazing fast with sd820. I see some of the people complaining about no earphones in the box, they should probably buy Vivo or Oppo phones which costs 18k and comes with shitty 430 processor, you guys deserve that. If you think fingerprint senor lags then go to developer option and reduce the animations to .5 and notice the difference. I'm getting a Screen on time of 6-6.5hrs with 10-12% charge left by the end of the day. The phone does not heat that much while gaming but if you charge n play at the same time and expect your phone to be cool as ice then no phone is perfect for you. the camera is good in daylight, manual and hdr modes can get you perfect shots. but lowlight is not that great. sunlight visibility is good and so is the screen quality. if you are a techie like me then you will surely enjoy the device more with custom rom. though i reverted back to zui cos it works fine for me. and finally uncles nagging here, you guys should just get a feature phone. smartphones ain't for you.

  • Lacking in basic feantures

I am wondering how Lenovo could afford to think of existing in such a competition with such an inferior product with such a lackadaisical approach. 1. Some of the basic functions are missing in the phone. Examples : 2. Security / privacy a. No guest mode €“ only single user can use b. No emergency / alternate numbers displayed when phone is locked 3. SMS a. No facility to search SMS €“ by sender€™s name or content text b. Cant select multiple message in a conversation for deletion €“ either delete each message individually or delete entire conversation c. No facility of quick messages / self-customised SMS templates 4. Calls a. Can not disable sound of notifications (eg messages / calendar etc) during a call €“ confuses with another incoming call b. Favourites in calls remain compulsorily there and a risk of pressing and call going 5. Key-board a. No clip-tray for multiple copy-paste at the same time 6. Clock €“ alarms a. Alarm does not stop at all €“ it continuously rings 7. The product does not come with any user manual €“ not even online. So you have to each time contact Lenovo for understanding each function. This is ridiculous. Further, Lenovo guys don€™t reply to twitter messages. 8. Phone heats too much even when not in charging. It is dangerous to keep it in pocket. 9. Some basic apps are missing which are claimed to be available in various sites e.g. FM radio, Notepad / Memopad app etc. Further, Phone comes without ear-phones which is required for music.
