Un porttil de los aos 90 con Chrome OS
Joanra (Mar 3, 2018)
on Amazon

Good value for a durable Chromebook
IPPete (Dec 22, 2017)

Excellent value in a Chromebook. Built like tank, designed for the education market. Maybe a bit heavy given the screen size but again it is built for abuse or at least that is the claim. I am not likely to abuse like a school kid might but the value caught my eye and the ability to use a tablet is a nice plus. All the Android apps I have tried run fine, a few will only run in "phone" size or full screen but are still perfectly usable in the smaller size. Battery life seems excellent, have not tested it all that much but looks like it would easily last a full day with average use. I have not observed any issues with as many as 8 tabs open in Chrome so seems to have plenty of power. Very happy so far.

I purchased this Chromebook to replace both an aging iPad and an ancient Dell laptop. I used the iPad exclusively for media consumption and the laptop for web browsing and light office tasks. I wasn't sure that this device was going to competently replace both, but my concerns were unfounded.I've yet to overwhelm the little ARM processor that is at the heart of this device. I regularly have multiple browsers open while I listen to music and edit a document in Google Docs. The ability to run Android apps is a significant plus. The keyboard is unexpectedly good for a laptop this inexpensive; build quality overall is impressively good. The touch screen and track pad both work exceptionally well, and the screen looks beautiful.A full-sized SD card sticks out far enough to be a problem. I'd suggest picking up a low profile micro SD card adapter if you want extra storage. There are such products advertised to work with the Raspberry Pi and Macbook Air that fit.

Super Portable and Fun little Powerhouse.
Chris (Dec 31, 2017)

This little device is a great multipurpose little computing device. With the ability to run Android apps (after downloading the latest Chromebook upgrades) I can fire off an email, check my social media, do my budget, or research something quickly. It features built in Chromecast support and am astounded at how well this processor handles streaming video and audio with multiple tabs open in the background and an Android App or two. I've spent money on mid-range well specced smartphones and I have a suped-up laptop with gobs of ram, multiple cores/huge CPU cache, with a SSD - however not every tasks calls for a thoroughly specced out development machine. It's so portable and versatile it fits right into that niche of comfortable performance for the everydays tasks.Mind you, the screen is a gorgeous high definition panel and the battery life is an incredible 10 Hours with long standby. Instant boot and shutdown make this entire package so convenient.

This is not a high end or fancy device, but it works well, supports Android apps, and is a tough little device. I use it mostly for on the go situations and it is holding up great.

Great Laptop With Proper Expectations.
Amazon Customer (Apr 12, 2018)

I received this Chromebook yesterday, and my initial thoughts are it is a fantastic product. It was easy to update for Android app support, and surprisingly fast for an ARM processor. 3d Android apps performed above my expectations, and browsing with multiple tabs was smooth and responsive. Despite my 5 star review, it is not entirely a perfect laptop (just perfect for what I was expecting).Pros:The price to performance ratio of this Chromebook is wonderful. It has the same internals as an Acer R13 at a much lower cost.USB-C charging.Incredibly loud speakers (a real surprise considering the low price).Clear screen with good viewing angles.Android App support. The best trackpad I have used in a low cost notebook.Decent keyboard.Outperforms the Nexus6P and Samsung Chromebook Plus at 3D Android GamesCons:720p resolution is low (but this isn't really as big of a problem due to screen size).Portal Knights won't work properly (missing textures during gameplay). The touch screen requires a bit of a heavy hand compared to other devices (This is something I am getting used to the more I use it).A touch heavy and thick for the size.Overall, the only disappointment I had was with Portal Knights, but I didn't buy it with the expectation that it would work (just that it might work). I was able to quickly fire up Baldur's Gate, and XCOM so it balanced out. I have been tremendously happy so far. If you have realistic expectations with Chromebooks, you will be hard pressed to find a better device in this price range. I will update this review if problems occur.

Works well so far. It is heavy. The touchscreen is not responsive at all (requires lots of hard presses to do anything), so if you are more touchscreen than keyboard focused beware.

Inexpensive lightweight small Chromebook that converts to a tablet. Would prefer the keyboard to be more sensitive and the track pad less sensitive. Used the tablet once and it seemed clunky. Otherwise, the computer performs OK. Good for Chrome users like me who have all their stuff on the cloud.

Computer completely died in 9 months
Mark J. Cundiff (Jul 9, 2019)
on Amazon
The computer was a good computer while it lasted but it completed died in 9 months and won't come back on. Tried to contact seller through Amazon to get a replacement but got no response after multiple attempts. I would recommend you stay away from this seller, they don't back up the products they sell and are non-responsive with issues like I have had with this computer. In the past I have had excellent service out of Lenovo products. This has been a huge disappointment with Amazon, the seller and the product.Mark
