  • The very vert best laptop for business use.
Amit Sharma (Mar 30, 2019) on Amazon
Thinkpads are defacto standard in the business arena for the last fifteen years. And they last and last.I don't want to quote all the amazing specs for this unit which you can easily find online. I want to instead, share my own experience and review of this fantastic piece.Laptops are expensive items and they are very personal as well. So like most people, I did a lot of research before buying this model. This came on top easily. This is a business laptop. That means its not for gaming. If you want gaming, please look elsewhere. If you want secure, reliable, durable, ultra-long battery, light-weight and impressive looks then look no further. This is the piece for you.Its a full metal construction. The shell is made of aluminum sheet, not plastic, and its brushed finished. So it looks amazing. Its very light, only about 1.5 kg. And its a ThinkPad, and primarily that means its Military Grade. It goes through tonnes of hard-core physical and electrical tests in every adverse condition before being made available. The battery lasts and lasts. I've been using it for several months now and I get more than 20 hours of actual use battery life each and every time. I am not talking about stand-by time, I'm talking with full screen running my apps and my normal usage of keyboard and mouse. This is a secure laptop. It has a finger-print scanner and it BIOS is impossible to break into. You can't remove its pure PCIe SSD hard-disk and use it on another computer. That HDD is readable only on this machine. The TPM enabled BIOS cannot be hacked and locks down everything if it detects an attempt to physically break into it or suspects hacking. Its a locked system and totally secure. If you lose your password or your finger, the APS lock-down laptop is useless even to a Lenovo service center.I use Windows-10 with it. And I'm not kidding - from the time I press the power button on the side to the time I get the full desktop (with the finger-print validation) it takes about 6 (six) seconds. That's right. There is very little heat generation because of the SSD HDD. Hence the long battery life as well. And its made for business use so while it may not have the graphics card and power needed to run modern games, it has more than enough nitro for business usage. Banking, worksheets, document production - that is what this 8th Generation Intel Core i3 processor based laptop is made for.Absolutely amazing and most highly recommended for all the business class users out there. There is nothing better.
