Was looking for a portable 2 in 1 detachable windows laptop and this meets my requirements. I wanted a Microsoft surface like device with a lower price. Super fast and light. Please be aware it does not have a finger print scanner although it is mentioned in description, not sure if the model I received or the device is like that, even in Lenovo's website it is advertised to have the finger print scanner. Other than that it is what it says it is.The trackpad isn't that great, but after couple of hours you get used to it.I don't use the pen much often, have no use for it actully, but when tested, it worked good I guess. I let my kids color using it and they loved it. Works great for that matter.Consider a screen cover/protector as it is a finget print magnet.

Similarly priced to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 i5 but with twice the ram and twice the storage. It also came with a gen 8 Core i7 processor which performs rather nicely. The keyboard has a nice feel to it and attaches easily.Overall I'm impressed with it's performance and versatility. The Miix 520 is only available with the gen 8 Core i5 now. Not many of these left with the Core i7 so a real bargain while they last.

Don't buy this, just get the MS Surface

I bought this 1 year and three weeks ago as an alternative to an MS Surface. From day one it was slow, had lagging responses to inputs (mouse, touchpad), would randomly wake up out of sleep mode, and would hang when using simple apps. Now, 3 weeks after the warranty expired, it's a brick. While trying to use Zoom this morning it started shutting down and rebooting. Then it just stopped turning on at all. It's an $800 brick. This after treating it with kids gloves the last year. Never dropped, never mishandled. For the additional $100 I should have bought the Surface Pro. Doing that now.
