My Rating is actually 4.5 for this machine. I have been using this for almost 18 months now and the machine doesn't hang. Really good configuration and the metal finish is the best part due to which it doesnt look much dirty even if you dont clean it often. Audio is fine from the speakers but the killer thing is still the performance. I run heavy softwares which I use for Analytics, ML & Data Visualization and this machine runs everything easily. Requires restart not too frequently so if you are someone who doesnt like close tabs, dont worry this is the machine for you. Has a full keyboard so if you are used to physical keyboards with desktops then you would feel a thing. Overall I strongly recommend people to buy if they want performance out of the machine and want to run heavy softwares.

I have to admit with no reviews I was skeptical. However! I definitely did get a brand new IdeaPad from Lenovo, in its original packaging, and yes - you definitely get the 500gb. I was very happy with my purchase at such a price. My only critique is the battery life seems to not be that great, (70% of battery is 3.5 hrs?), so makesure to bring your charger if you're on the road.

The laptop is beautiful, true to size, came in original Lenovo packaging and charger was included.

Needed to replace my 6 year old laptop. I change out hard drives every two years but after a while performance degrades anyways. This new laptop has been great. I paid $75 to upgrade to 8GB RAM after I got it and it's been off the races ever since. Only concern is that the battery is internal and will be challenging to replace but for a total investment of less than $330, I have exactly what I need.

So far so good. Its light weight and does just what we needed.

I like this computer but has some little issue with it. but nothing that our computer person could fix that did cost much. My other computer was an HP and having the same issue as this one. windows update weren't working so it was this computer I guess. I am happy with it. I use it for my bible study, talking to people on face book, and doing my sermons and other paper work. I give a very good rating for what I use it for.

I waited most of the day for this thing to boot up, check for windows updates.... So I new it was probably the cheap 1TB hard drive. Checked and it's only a 5,400 rpm drive and who knows what else Lenovo installs. Fortunately for me I had a 250Gb SSD lying around from another upgrade for a friend. 250Gb are only $50 now but I had this so it was simple. After installing windows this thing really does well. It will never be a high end gaming pc with only the Celeron but good enough for Internet and Office use. Plenty of utube help on replacing the Hard Drive.

It's a slow machine, you will practice your patience. Otherwise it works fine. i didn't realize that it came with a dvd player. i miss those gadgets. i haven't used it yet but i'm sure i will.

It's OK. It's pretty slow, even after removing bloatware. For my purposes it is fine, but if you wanna play computer games I don't think this would be a good choice. I hate windows 10 and usually install Ubuntu, but this is my computer for when I need windows.

When u using this , for no reason , the letters just get big , then bigger , i mean u can be writing a letter & all of a sudden , it calibrates larger .

Not sure this is just this laptop but the trackpad on this unit is just AWFUL. One click is difficult to do, as the computer always appears to register that you are using two fingers (which I was not). I tried different setting making it more and less sensitive to no avail. Returned for refund.

When writing more than two lines of either emails or hard copy letters, reports, this thing goes into Arabic and unless you turn off/on it cannot be removed. another problem arising today is the sound, it has a terrible screaming noise over and above the talking which cannot be erased. A junk product
