Superb tablet for learning

Learn Play and Shop..Perfect product for children.

Fast Delivery, Good product, Value for moneyI brought this product for my son, I have had a pretty good experience with it so far.I was looking for a birthday present for my younger son on the internet, when I came across CG Slate. Did a bit of research on the product and found it to my liking. What better a gift that makes my kiddo happy and makes me happy as well as he would get to learn useful things through CG Slate. I especially like the parental control feature through which I can supervise access of the tablet.Based on my and my son?s experience of the product, I would like to state some pros and cons:Pros:(1) Lightweight body with good display and battery life.(2) CG Slate app content mapped with NCERT syllabus.(3) I can keep a track of my child?s learning outcomes through automatic SMS & Emails.(4) Doesn?t require net to watch learning content, can be watched from anywhere.(5) No advertisements popping up.Cons:(1) No earphones provided with the tablet.(2) Dolby sound could have been better, but that doesn?t matter, going by my purpose of purchase.Overall, worth the money I spent, go for it !!!

I got the CG Slate today in the morning for my child who studies in Class 1. I thought it will be one tablet with some children apps but I was pleasantly surprised. My child has been using the tablet ever since it arrived and loves it. Initially, I was apprehensive about buying my child a tablet but the CG Slate seems to be a very good investment in my child?s learning and education.Pros� The tablet is of Lenovo, and is lightweight with good battery life.� It consists of videos, interactive books, games and worksheets that support regular curricula taught in school. All this content is mapped to NCERT syllabus. This is something none of the other tablets seems to have.� It consists of animations, simulations of real life concepts and interactive books that impart knowledge in an interactive manner. My kid was studying about herbivores, carnivores, etc and completely understood the concept and was trying to teach me.� (VERY IMPORTANT)It has advanced parental control, with separate pins for parents and kids, which ensures that children are exposed to content appropriate for their age.� It helps parents keep a track of their child?s learning outcomes through automatic SMS & Emails.� The Lenovo CG Slate has the Learn and Play concept which means that a child can play or watch cartoons in the tablet only after learning. This is a BRILLIANT concept!� It has a very child-friendly and interactive user interface and my child is able to navigate through it easily. The character in the tablet called Titu is very cute.� Internet is not required all the time� Taking consideration all its features & benefits, it is very economical. Moreover, I can use the tablet as a normal Android Tablet also.Also, the packaging apart from the charger, usb cables, etc comes with some really cute goodies for the child as well as the mother like bag, coasters, stickers, etc.Cons� Haven?t found any till now except I have a kid who is in class 8 and it would be great if there is a CG Slate for him as well.Thank you- Amazon & Lenovo CG Slate

What makes this tablet one of a kind is that its learning modules are based on NCERT curriculum and therefore are in line with the cognitive development of the child. There are three zones to explore - Learn Zone, Play Zone and Shop Zone. Learn Zone is designed as such that ?learning? seems more like ?fun.? My daughter kept learning in the "Learn ZOne" and only after a week she explored the play zone.There are books, videos, games, worksheets and more curated content to discover. The security features, e.g. separate password codes for parent and child, SMS alert for child using the child, etc. are in place. CG Slate works in two different modes and therefore it can be used both as an educational tablet (for kids) as well as a regular Android tablet (for grownups).

Good value for money tab

It is the worst product ever i seen at amazon. Don't purchase it.

Poor quality as the software for kids doesn't work. Both Lenovo and Amazon have refused to take back the tablet despite it not working correctly. I am aghast at amazon's policy in this case. Lenovo also expects me to go pay visits to their service centers for this. Little regard for customer convenience.

It is getting discharged even if not used.. I have requested for return. Hope Amazon will do the needful
