HONEST UPDATE AFTER 35 DAYS OF USE: No problems whatsoever. Working very fine. Using about 4 to 5 hours a day. To increase volume use Google Chrome extension 'Volume Booster' from store. Volume is really loud. My earlier review below still holds good. (Please note: I am a genuine customer and not employee of Lava or anyone). _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Excellent product. Display Full HD is superb (only laptop under 15k with FHD). Quite fast for 2gb RAM. Purple colour is really nice, different from what you normally see. Laptop looks good, slim, like Macbook air. Internal storage has only 13 to 14gb storage left for user. Rest taken by system software. Inserted 32gb SD card. Around 40gb total enough for me. The sound from speakers is low but depends on the original recording. Some music or movies are loud. Best part is the battery 10,000 mAh which lasts totally more than 9 hours with brightness at 30%, some surfing and downloading. It is more than 2 days for me. The touchpad response is also very good. But there is one big con: 'Readyboost' is not available to increase RAM using SD card. A big let down for me. Giving 5 stars because overall performance is really good. Worth buying and value for money.

Good product with reasonable price

Great of light usage i.e for surfing, watching movies and other educational activities. It lags while multitasking and the sound of the default player is also very low, but that can be taken care of by installing 3rd pary media players(i would recommend Gom player) Battery backup is much more than u usually get from laptops. Overall great product in this price range.

The projuct is amazing. Thanks flipkart for a faster delivery. I would like to have few things updated in next avtar of this laptop 1. Speakers to be placed on top and enhanced output. 2. Backlit keyboard 3. Display with 179 degree viewing angle with more colors.

It is a quite good looking product, as working nicely for basic uses as compare to price range . But in my test of youtube video of 1080P format its lagging, surprised to see that a movie which is also 1080p playing nicely. Sound is pretty average, RAM uses is upto 1.2GB/1.9Gb as normal 2 3 works takes place at a time in diffrent aspects, Battery backup is awesome, Camera is average, CPU load arround 60% in 2 3 works load, Connectivity and Display quality is very nice, Keyboard is awasome as per price tag But touchpad is little average to work, 32 gb SSD drive deliver free space arround 17Gb, But there is a latest version Win10 update about 4 Gb , So hopefully after all updates and some basic application installed , Its shows 13GB free., It s good. Overall it is consider a very good entry level budget laptop to buy who need some basic office works , watching movie , web browsing and basic medium graphics games.

I purchased this laptop and I could not believe what I got for 15k. It was delivered in just 2 days and kudos to Flipkart. Delivery 10/10 I'm writing this review after 2 days use. Regarding the product it is really amazing. Display: it's full HD and there are no lags and you won't get such quality at this price. 10/10. Design: it just looks like Mac book air. Sleek and lightweight. It looks like a premium device. 10/10 Processor. The processor has no lags at all. Multi tasking was good. Though, it's a basic processor but the performance is excellent. 9/10 Battery: no words to explain how efficient the battery is. 8+ hrs battery backup. I watched a movie full hd( 2hrs) using earphones and the battery came from 97 to 82%. You won't get such a huge battery at this price tag. The charge time is bit higher 4.5hrs approximately because of the 10k mah battery. The length of the charger is not long as a general laptops. But that's not an issue at all. Overall 10/10 for the battery. Mouse pad: it was quite responsive and hassle-free experience. 9/10 Internal memory: out of the box you'll get 17.6gb free out of 28gb but after the updates and installing few apps you'll get 11gb free. I think it's good enough for me. 9/10 Operating system: windows 10 out of the box. Smooth and fast.no issues so far. 10/10 Camera: it's a 2megapixel camera. It can take some decent clicks. Sufficient for video calling etc. 8/10 Sound: it's bit low through the earphones but the quality from the headphones is good. 8/10. Can't expect so much for just 15k. I haven't tried any games. Don't know about the gaming. But I'll inform after trying some games. No problem with the pendrives but haven't tried an external hard disc ( I don't have but I read it works fine) No VGA port, Ethernet port.(these are not cons for me) I think lave gave the best shot in the budget laptop segment. Go for it if you want to do basic works, watching movies etc. Helium doesn't disappoint you. Last thing: one of my colleagues thought I purchased a MacBook looking at helium. Awesome design.!! The note book is looking very beautiful like a apple laptop but sound is very poor ......but all is ok

Excellent laptop. Light weight to carry around while on the move. Good for l browsing and working with excel & word. Storage with 64gb would have been so ideal!!

Lava new model laptop is good looking and very thin size it's awesome product from lava India. But this product is need some more RAM and also ROM and HDD Also. So please extend some more features.
