Now, the latest leak suggests that the company will not unveil a refresh of the Mi Notebook Air on Friday as anticipated, and instead, launch a brand new series called Mi Notebook Pro.
The Chinese company started sending out invites for the launch of an upcoming laptop earlier this week, which was anticipated to bring 4G connectivity support to the Mi Notebook Air series. Now, a leak has suggested that the laptop will come with a 'Pro' moniker and will carry a hefty price around CNY 6,000 (roughly Rs. 58,600), Xiaomi Today reports.
The leak suggests that Xiaomi's upcoming Mi Notebook Pro laptop will feature specifications worthy of the hefty price tag as it is tipped to sport a 4K resolution display and pack Intel i7-6700HQ processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M graphics card, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of internal storage.
In July, Xiaomi launched the Mi Notebook Air model in two sizes - 12.5-inches and 13.3-inches. The 12.5-inch display variant was priced by the company at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 35,300) while the 13.3-inch variant was priced at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 51,400). The company can potentially launch two size variants this time as well.
