Ahead of Xiaomi's Wednesday event in Beijing, leaked images of a new Mi Notebook have made it to the Internet. Apart from the alleged Mi Notebook images, presentation slides claimed to be from Xiaomi have also surfaced hinting at the possible pricing of the device.

According to leaked details, the alleged Mi Notebook is said to come in two variants - standard featuring Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 40,000), and a Pro version with an Intel Core i7, Nvidia graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage priced at CNY 6,699 (approximately Rs. 68,000). The Mi Notebook is said to sport a 15.6-inch display and will have a USB Type-C port. Xiaomi may showcase the alleged Mi Notebook at its Wednesday event.

The leaked images posted by GizmoChina show an all-metal notebook. The side profile image of the Mi Notebook purportedly shows a sleek device. It's worth noting that the leaked image do not show the Mi logo on the device.

Of course, as with all rumours and leaks, we advise readers to take the above information about the Xiaomi's first Mi Notebook with a pinch of salt, as the Chinese company is yet to make any announcements about its new notebook.

For Xiaomi's Wednesday launch event, a series of teasers from the company have confirmed several details of the new Redmi smartphone dubbed Redmi Pro. It will feature a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25. Previously, Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi Pro will sport an Oled display.
