"With modern games becoming larger in file size, console gamers can store fewer games on the devices themselves. The My Passport X portable drive provides a fast and convenient extension to a console's storage capacity," said Khalid Wani, Director, Content Solutions Business, India, Middle East and Africa for WD. "Xbox One is already available with Amazon.in. This launch will allow consumers to conveniently purchase the My Passport X drives from the same e-tailer."

Commenting on the partnership, Samir Kumar, Director Category Management, Amazon India said, "We are excited to be the partner of choice for WD and offer our customers an exclusive access to My Passport X portable hard drive. This is in line with our vision of enabling our customers in India to find, discover and buy anything that they desire online and provide them a unique, delightful and trustworthy shopping experience."
