Apple CEO Steve Jobs will deliver the keynote at Apple's annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 6. The company has announced that they will unveil their next generation software solutions, which will include the Mac OSX Lion, iOS 5, and iCloud.

The iCloud service is Apple's much awaited cloud based music solution. Not many details on iCloud were shared during this announcement. Apple has reportedly tied-up with some music labels for iCloud. The service could allow users to buy and save music on Apple's iCloud and stream it directly to their devices. This comes in response to Google's Music Beta and Amazon's Cloud Player.

Google and Amazon though allow users to stream music using their services, they do not have direct deals with music labels that iCloud may feature. Apple has also recently built a 500,000 square feet data centre in North Carolina, which is reported to be the one powering their iCloud service.

Also, WWDC  will see the official release of the operating system Mac OSX Lion. The Mac OSX Lion will involve technologies developed for the iOS and will include full screen apps.
With Mac OSX Lion, Apple will also launch iOS 5 which will be their next generation operating system for mobile devices such as the iPad, iPhone andiPod Touch. iOS 5 may include a revamped notifications system and support for widgets similar to Android.

Historically Apple has always unveiled the latest generation of the iPhone at WWDC but looks like this time around it will be a software centric event.
