After the graphics card issues for some MacBook Pro 2016 users, now some MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar users are now reporting a different issue pertaining to battery life. Some users report that their new laptop has a very shoddy battery life and does not last up to its promised 10 hours of 'wireless Web' usage.

In fact, the MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar reportedly eats up all the battery in just 3 hours of normal browsing. Many users have taken to Apple's support page to announce their grievances. Apple has claimed that the Touch Bar variant can last up to 10 hours of usage, but users are reporting otherwise.

One user going by the name cab5g writes on the Apple support page, "I just received my new 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. The battery life is horrible!!! I have Safari open with 6 tabs and with 95 percent battery; I am told that I have under 3 hours of battery life left! I thought these things were supposed to get 10 hours? I ran the battery down in 3 hours last night only browsing the Web. I wasn't watching videos, just browsing. Is there something wrong with my laptop?"

Another user said that his fully charged MacBook Pro was sitting idle and showed only 3 hours of time remaining on screen. It's unclear whether this is a hardware or a software issue, but we hope that Apple investigates this issue at its earliest, and release an official statement with the process to resolve this problem.
