This acquisition will further strengthen Softtek's SAP qualifications by adding capabilities for cloud, mobility solutions as well as cross-process and industry domain expertise to its solutions portfolio, the two companies announced Thursday.
Systech, headquartered in San Jose, California, has Centres of Excellence in the United States and India. With a 100 percent focus on SAP solutions, Systech's consulting organization has a proven track record of delivering end-to-end services, a media release said.
The addition of Systech's SAP solutions expertise and India delivery centre enhances Softtek's SAP capabilities through its existing network of global delivery centres in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Spain and China, it said.
"We are thrilled about the new opportunities that lie ahead by joining Softtek," said India- born Sam Tyagi, CEO and co-founder of Systech, who will now be the managing director of Softtek's ERP practice for North America.
"The combined capabilities, experience and geographic scope will unequivocally provide new avenues to deliver SAP software-based innovations to the market," he said.
"The integration of Systech into the Softtek family is part of our ongoing strategic effort to help clients maximise the value of their investments in SAP solutions and create market-leading positions for themselves," said Blanca Trevino, president and CEO of Softtek.
"We have one of the strongest offerings for SAP solutions in the Americas, and now an even stronger Global Nearshore model."
Softtek's new ERP North American practice will operate under the name "Systech, a Softtek Company" for a limited period of time.
