Lenovo Ideapad Y700 Gaming Laptop Launched in India: Price, Specifications, and More

Lenovo has expanded its gaming portfolio with the launch of the Y700 laptop in India. Priced at Rs. 99,990, the Lenovo Ideapad Y700 will be available via the company's online thedostore.

The company has also announced a host of offers with the new Lenovo Ideapad Y700 laptop including a free Lenovo Y Gaming Backpack and accessories worth Rs. 12,999 available to customers at the special price of just Rs. 2,499. The accessories include Lenovo Y Gaming surround sound headset which comes with 7.1 virtual surround sound and is also VoIP-ready with built-in controls; Lenovo Y Gaming precision mouse with five levels of adjustable weight; and a Lenovo Y Gaming mechanical switch keyboard offering up to six customisable keys for macro recording.

For college students, Lenovo India has announced up to 3 years of additional warranty worth Rs. 4,499 along with up to 3 years of accidental damage protection cover.

The Lenovo Ideapad Y700 laptop features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by an Intel Core i7-6700 HQ (2.6GHz up to 3.5GHz, 6M cache) paired with 16GB of RAM and 4GB Nvidia (N16P-GX GDDR5 4G) graphics card. The device runs Windows 10 Home and comes with 1TB inbuilt storage along with 128GB SSD storage option. The laptop sports Dolby audio JBL speakers. The company touts that the laptop comes with 'optimised thermal cooling technology.'

Announcing the new Y700 laptop, Bhaskar Choudhuri, Director, Marketing Lenovo India, said, "The new Y700 is testimony to Lenovo's constant innovation and pursuit to create new categories that enhance the consumer experience. Traditionally, gaming PCs are seen as bulky and heavy but the Lenovo Y700 is sleek and portable. At the same time, it offers the experience, performance and versatility that gamers look for."
