The Lenovo Yoga 2 has been launched at Rs. 59,990, while the Lenovo Flex 2 has been priced at Rs. 41,900.
Notably, the Yoga 2 laptop was announced at CES 2014. The Lenovo Flex 2, on the other hand, was launched in April, alongside the all-in-one PC, the A540.
The Lenovo Yoga 2 features a 13.3-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS display and employs 10-point multi-touch technology. The laptop is powered by Windows 8.1 and runs on an Intel Core i7 processor coupled with 8GB of DDR3L RAM. Offering 256GB of SSD storage, the Yoga 2 also features an HD webcam.
Connectivity options on the laptop include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Micro-HDMI, and card reader. The Lenovo Yoga 2 measures 330x221.2x17.3mm and weighs 1.56 kilograms. The Lenovo Yoga 2 supports four modes, namely - laptop, stand, tablet, and tent. The laptop also supports flip screen up to 360 degrees.
The official listing notes that the laptop can deliver up to 8 hours of battery life; though no word on the battery capacity in the Yoga 2.
The Lenovo Flex 2, on the other hand, comes with a 14-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display and is powered by Windows 8.1. Consumers can purchase the Flex 2 laptop either with an Intel Core i7 processor coupled with an Nvidia GPU, or the AMD A8 APU with the Radeon R5 M230 GPU. Storage up to 1TB (HDD) is offered, as well as a hybrid SSD and HDD option, or up to 256GB of solid-state storage. Lenovo has also included stereo speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 technology on the Flex 2 laptop.
Connectivity options on the Flex 2 include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Micro-HDMI, and card reader. The Lenovo Flex 2 measures 343x255x22.4mm and weighs 1.9 kilograms.
