A high level delegation of IT experts and administrators will take part in the digital industry's biggest event - CeBIT - held annually at the world's largest fairgrounds in Hannover.

The five-day event begins March 5, and is billed as one of the leading information and communications technology (ICT) events in the world, where companies from around the world showcase their products and services.

This year, the Kerala government has sponsored five incubated companies from Technopark TBI to showcase their products and services at CeBIT 2013, and a separate pavilion will be set up for these firms there.

The participating incubated companies are: Zesty Beanz, Mirox Cyber Security and Technology Pvt Ltd, Akira Software Solutions, Creace Technologies and Techrishta.

CeBIT brings together leading professionals in the ICT sector and allows such professionals to find a platform for the expansion of their marketing networks.

"CeBIT throws open a stage for Kerala IT to exhibit its ability to an international audience. Kerala IT would get due acceptance and eventually more companies would show their interest in investing in the state. That is the reason that this year we decided to take some of our incubated companies to this event," said P.H. Kurian, the IT secretary of the state government.
