iMac Pro, the most powerful Mac till date, which was first unveiled at WWDC last year and started shipping in the US and other select markets in December, is finally available in India. Gadgets 360 has learnt that select Apple authorised retailers in India have started receiving iMac Pro units, and you can expect wider availability of the newest Mac by the end of this week.

As revealed earlier, iMac Pro is priced in India at Rs. 4,15,000 for the one and only model that will be available in the country. That eye-watering amount will get you an all-in-one with a 27-inch 5K (5120x2880 pixels) display with support for wide colour (P3) gamut that's powered by an 8-core 3.2GHz Intel Xeon W workstation class chip with 19MB cache and Turbo Boost up to 4.2GHz. The iMac Pro comes with 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 ECC memory and 1TB of SSD storage.

Graphics are powered by an AMD Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor with 8GB of HBM2 memory. In addition to the built-in display, the iMac Pro can drive two 5120x2880 pixel (5K) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colours, or four 3840x2160 pixel (4K/ 4K UHD) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colours.

In terms of connectivity, you get 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm headphone jack, SDXC card slot, 10Gb Ethernet port, four USB 3 (Type-A) ports, and four Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports with support for DisplayPort 1.2, Thunderbolt (up to 40 Gbps), and USB 3.1 Gen. 2 (up to 10 Gbps).

The iMac Pro comes in a new Space Grey finish with bundled Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad and Magic Mouse 2, also in Space Grey. The optional Space Grey Magic Trackpad 2 that can be ordered while purchasing an iMac Pro in other regions is listed on Apple's India website as well, but Gadgets 360 understands it's not up for grabs in the market just yet.

As mentioned earlier, none of the faster iMac Pro models are available in India.
