Both these laptops feature Nvidia GTX 1060 GPUs with Max-Q designs with processors upto the 8th generation Intel Core i7 on the G5 and Core i9 on the G7. Dual fans and dual drives with SSD options are also a part of their configuration. There's an optional 4K (3840x2160) display for the G7 15. While Dell is yet to reveal the India price and availability of these machines the company has said the Dell G7 15 is "available now in US, China, and Europe" via its website and BestBuy in the US with a starting price of $850 (around Rs. 55,300). As for the Dell G3 15 and 17, they would be available globally from April 16 starting $750 (approximately Rs. 49,000) and $800 (roughly Rs. 52,000). As for the Dell G5 15, it's available from April 16 from $850 (around Rs. 55,300).
It will be interesting to see what pricing Dell has for the G series in India. More so when you consider how cost prohibitive it is to assemble a gaming PC right now.
