Months after its debut at Computex 2018 in Taiwan, Asus has launched the new ZenBook Pro with a ScreenPad in India. The Taiwanese company on Monday also brought the ZenBook S and ZenBook 13. Among other models, the ZenBook Pro comes with a starting price of Rs. 1,79,990 and features up to eighth-generation Intel Core i9 processors. The ZenBook Pro sports a UHD IPS panel that supports touch inputs. Also, the presence of the ScreenPad that replaces the traditional touchpad delivers an experience similar to the Touch Bar-enabled MacBook Pro models.
The Asus ZenBook Pro (UX580GE-E2032T) with an eighth-generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor comes at a price tag of Rs. 1,79,990, while the other variant (UX580GE-E2014T) with an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor is priced at Rs. 2,09,990. The ZenBook S (UX391), on the other hand, comes in a single variant that is priced at Rs. 1,29,990, whereas the ZenBook 13 comes in three different variants. The ZenBook 13 (UX331UAL-EG001T) with an Intel Core i5-8250U and 256GB SSD is priced at Rs. 66,990, while the variant (UX331UAL-EG058T) with 512GB SSD comes with a price tag of Rs. 76,990 and the variant (UX331UAL-EG031T) with an Intel Core i7-8550U processor and 512GB SSD is available at Rs. 84,990. All the three models with their different configurations are available for purchase through major e-commerce platforms, LFR stores, and channel partners in the country starting today.

As showcased at the Computex 2018 back in June, the Asus ZenBook Pro brings a ScreenPad that offers an interaction with various Windows and ScreenPad apps. The ScreenPad comes in a high-resolution, full-colour touchscreen panel that is designed with adaptive features along with context-sensitive tools and supports apps such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and YouTube among others. It is inspired by the Touch Bar available on select MacBook Pro models.
Alongside the ScreenPad, the ZenBook Pro 15 has a 15.6-inch 4K UHD NanoEdge Pantone validated display with 100 percent Adobe RGB colour gamut. The notebook is powered by up to eighth-generation Intel Core i9 processor, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050i GPU, and 1TB of PCIe x4 SSD. It also has gigabit-class Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C (3.1 Gen 2), and Thunderbolt 3 ports. Additionally, Asus has provided a Harman Kardon-certified audio system. The notebook also has a fingerprint sensor and sports an all-aluminium unibody build that features a spun-metal finish in Deep Dive Blue and Rose Gold colour options.

In addition to the ZenBook Pro, Asus has launched the ZenBook S in India that has up to 4K UHD NanoEdge touchscreen option in 13.3-inch size. The notebook has an eighth-generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor, coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of PCIe x4 SSD. There is an ErgoLift hinge design, and the build of the ZenBook S is based on MIL-STD-810G standards. Also, the notebook is touted to deliver up to 13.5 hours of battery life on a single charge and provide Thunderbolt 3 connectivity supported by USB Type-C interface. There are Deep Dive Blue and Burgundy Red colour options that are backed by the diamond-cut details and spun-metal finish.

Apart from the ZenBook S, the new ZenBook lineup has the Asus ZenBook 13 that has a 13.3-inch FHD NanoEdge display with wide, 100 percent RGB colour gamut and a Harman Kardon audio integration. There are up to eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor options, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. The notebook has a full-size, backlit keyboard and a fingerprint sensor as well as connectivity options such as USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Asus claims that on a single charge, the ZenBook 13 can deliver up to 14 hours of battery life. Besides, there is a 13.9mm thin profile that weighs 985 grams and comes with MIL-STD-810G military-grade tough build.
