The VivoBook Max X541 features a 15.6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by a Intel Core i3-7100U processor coupled with Intel HD Graphics 620 and 4GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, which is expandable up to 12GB. The laptop features a 'gaming grade chiclet keyboard' with a 2.3mm key travel distance and overall weighs just 1.9kg. It comes with a 1TB 5400RPM HDD, and also features an optical drive.

As mentioned, the VivoBook Max laptop has been launched in two variants in India, with the above specifications describing the X541 variant. The VivoBook Max A541 on the other hand bears nearly identical specifications, except it ships with Endless OS onboard, and a dedicated GPU - Nvidia GeForce GT 920MX (2GB DDR3 VRAM). Pricing for this model starts at Rs. 36,990, and it features 2-year global warranty. The X541 variant can also be purchased with Windows 10, at a slight price premium, and comes with a 1-year global warranty.

The notebooks comes with some improved audio technologies including Asus SonicMaster which is a mixture of hardware, software and tuning to provide clear and immersive sound output. The AudioWizard Technology helps users optimise audio while the intuitive UI fits in actual usage scenarios. Finally, the VivoBook Max X541 features a Splendid EyeCare mode that reduces strain on the eye by lowering blue light emitted from the screen by up to 30 percent.

The VivoBook Max X541 also features what the company calls Asus Splendid Technology, that offers three different picture modes - eye care mode, normal mode and vivid mode. Additionally, the Asus Tru2life video technology provides 200 percent sharper visuals while a SuperBatt technology provides three times longer battery life span. Connectivity options include USB Type-C connector with 5Gbps data transfer speeds, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI ports.
