With their next generation operating system about to launch tonight, Apple is rapidly applying tweaks to their app stores. Some of these tweaks involve volume app purchases for businesses, business-to-business (B2B) apps and a revamped app pricing strategy for some countries like Australia (India not included).
According to a report by Apple watcher-blog MacRumors, the app store now enables businesses to sell and distribute custom business-to-business apps for business customers. These apps are completely customizable and can be created for specific needs.
Apple has even launched a page for volume purchasing and is providing a pdf walkthrough guide for prospective customers. At present, the page has a 'Coming Soon' banner flashing, we expect this to change by the end of the day.
In mean time stay tuned to our Apple coverage through out the day.
