Excellent product.

Still waiting for app to come out for Bluetooth feature

I bought the EON 515XT model and used it for a few days before finding this product online. I decided to trade the 515XT and ordered this new product. The performance of the 515XT for me was good, but not quite great. I was excited to receive my upgraded 615 model and wow! The difference is clear. I used it for an outdoor event for about 80 kids. The quality and volume of the sound is simply breath-taking. No need for subs. The bass is rock solid. The unit gets really hot after a while though. I can't wait for another event to crank up this unit.I have not been able to connect through the integrated bluetooth function to access the equalizer settings. However, I find the preset point for the "Main" producing the best output overall. On the downside, I found the 515XT more stylish than this model. I also preferred the light in front of the unit on the 515XT model (which illuminates the JBL logo). These aside, actual performance sets these two units apart very clearly in sound clarity across all ranges and total volume output.Great product, again from a great company. This is not just a speaker but a sound reinforcement unit!

I have been searching for a larger powered outdoor speaker for my daughter's outdoor wedding celebration and I decided on the JBL EON615. This was in spite of the fact that this unit is incompatible with Bluetooth Audio. I figured out that the 1/4' inputs are not stereo, so I ordered a Hosa CMP159 Stereo Breakout, 3.5mm (1/8") TRS to Dual 1/4" TRS cable to split the iPod stereo output into two separate inputs into the JBL. I also finally figured out how to control the JBL with Bluetooth thru my iPhone. You need to download the "EON Connect" App and pair it. Once there, you can vary the Volume, Base and Treble controls. But, as other reviews stated, the sound volume was not great, so I bought a Pyle Home PTAU45 Amplifier and connected the output of the amp using speaker wire to GLS Audio 1/4" plugs. The Amp also has a separate Microphone input. The result? Absolutely awesome, very loud and just what I was looking for.

This was a gift to my brother in law. He sings and plays guitar. He loves this. You can control the speaker with your phone and blutooth. Will be buying a second one soon.

I down sized my PA. On the bright side my new speakers are 200 watts more powerful than the last pair and instead of three trips from truck to stage to move the PA, I can do it in one. I've been a fan of JBL speakers since the 70's, these new powered speakers are great.

Awesome speakers. Couldn't be happier. We used these in conjunction with our outdoor screen/projector setup and they rocked. Looking forward to buying the sub component for this setup.

Great sound, great design, light, handles on each side, and durable cabinet. Plenty of power too, though peak power rating is not a realistic measurement.Bluetooth is confusing, still haven't connected iOS to BT, which on other BT devices isn't a problem. Downloaded connect but no go.Nevertheless I still plan on getting another JBL Eon 612.

These are fantastic. Bought them for my event company and they connect seamlessly with very powerful sound and bass from the compatible amp. Highly recommend these, they replaced a set of four speakers I previously used.

I bought two to replace JBL Cabaret Series workhorses from the Eighties. Plenty of power for full keyboards and guitar as my personal stage monitors. Sound fine and the 10's have plenty of punch. These push a lot of air. My B3 sounds are terrifying. I bought these to save weight and space as I am pushing 60 and gig every week. I will say they sound better when I drive them from my workhorse Mackie 1202 rather than directly into the inputs. I see in some reviews people don't like the JBL Bluetooth app, but I never use it. I have used them for a full year and so far, so good. An old sound company guy once told me "JBL, Crown and Soundcraft are the way to go". Now they are all the same company.
