After releasing a bunch of offers for its mobile users, Reliance Jio has launched an offer giving more than 100 percent cashback on JioFi routers. The offer, however, is available only to those who buy the JioFi router now, and is not being extended to existing customers. Under the exchange offer, Reliance Jio is giving JioFi buyers 100 percent cashback with benefits worth Rs. 2,010 (ten Rs. 201 booster packs); while without exchange, Reliance Jio is offering a 50 percent cashback with benefits worth Rs. 1,005 (five Rs. 201 booster packs).
The first Reliance Jio plan gives customers 100 percent cashback on the purchase of JioFi router worth Rs. 1,999. However, you must exchange it with any of your old 2G/ 3G dongles or Wi-Fi routers to avail this offer. Reliance Jio has also listed which dongles are eligible for exchange. Alongside the purchase of the Rs. 1,999 JioFi router, users must recharge for Rs. 408 (Rs. 99 Jio Prime membership + Rs. 309 recharge) or Rs. 608 (Rs. 99 Jio Prime + Rs. 509). Post the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, users will have to use a minimum Rs. 149 recharge to get ten Rs. 201 booster packs worth Rs. 2,010 for free.
The Rs. 201 booster pack offers 5GB of 4G data for 28 days - the ten Rs. 201 booster packs can be used with up to ten recharges up to March 31, 2018. The Jio website mentions the customers will recoup the value of the JioFi pocket router cashback in the form of free booster packs.
The second offer is for all those users who do not have an existing 2G and 3G dongle for exchange. With this plan, users will need to purchase a Rs. 1,999 JioFi router, and similarly must recharge for Rs. 408 (Rs. 99 Jio Prime membership + Rs. 309 recharge) or Rs. 608 (Rs. 99 Jio Prime + Rs. 509). Post the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, users will have to use a minimum Rs. 149 recharge, and get five Rs. 201 booster packs worth Rs. 1,005 for free, and they can be used with up to 5 recharges until March 31, 2018.
The new JioFi 'cashback' offers are valid for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. The JioFi router must be bought from Jio.com, and then customers will need to visit a Jio Store with the original invoice and JioFi box. Reliance Jio adds that customers will need to carry originals and copies of their proof of address, proof of identity, a passport size photograph, and their local Aadhaar card.
Further terms and conditions for both offers have been detailed by Reliance Jio.
These new offers come soon after the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer introduced for all Jio subscribers, and you can read all about those plans. Jio is coming up with lucrative plans to get more users to switch to its network, and not let its huge subscriber base formed during the ‘free period’ switch back to old network providers.
