Nobody likes ads. Except when their creativity leaves a smile on your face. Sure, ads might interrupt your favourite videos, but some ads are so good that people don't mind watching them over and over. YouTube, as the hub of all things video, has released a list of most popular creative ads from India featuring some with over seven million views. Here are the top five from that list.

1. MTS Homespot
The number 1 ad on the list involves MTS advertising its Wi-Fi dongle. In the ad a baby is seen arguing with god, refusing to be born because the household doesn't have a Wi-Fi connection. God eventually offers MTS' product and the baby is pleased. This ad has almost 8 million views.

2. Lifebuoy Help a Child Reach 5 - Chamki
Lifebuoy's ad features a real-life experiment that makes a pregnant woman pledge to wash her hands. Her village is shown to have a high infant mortality rate and this simple habit is said to help people save infants' lives.

3. Khud Ko Kar Buland
Next in the list with over 4.3 million views is Birla Sun Life insurance's touching ad, which shows a father raising an autistic boy through tough times.

4. Shop Smart With Flipkart
Flipkart's ad showing a woman taking an auto rickshaw to various shops in Delhi culminates in the driver asking her to just get the ecommerce giant's app. The ad got over 3.5 million views.

5. Cinthol - Alive Is Offline
Cinthol soap's ad, with over 2.5 million views, rounds off YouTube's top 5 Indian ads. It shows a man on a hike enjoying nature, adventure, and being offline - in a bid to leave the hectic city life behind and return to simpler times.

YouTube says these ads have been selected based on "an algorithm that factors in paid views, organic views and audience retention (how much of a video people watched)" from January to November 2015. This is why these ads don't show up on the company's top 10 for the Asia Pacific region.
