Flipkart Summer Shopping Days Sale Day 1: Discounts on Smartphones, Tablets, and More

Flipkart has kicked off its Summer Shopping Days Sale which will see a number of exciting deals and discounts across its catalogue of products from Tuesday, May 2 to Thursday, May 4. The first day sees some discounts and offers in the electronics sections ranging from mobiles to smartwatches and tablets.

We take a look at some of the best discounts available on Flipkart today.

Flipkart sale on mobiles

Flipkart is offering a wide range of discounts for smartphones across budget, mid-range and premium segments. The most noticeable price drop comes to Samsung's On NXT 32GB variant, which is now available for Rs. 14,900, down from Rs. 18,490. Also being offered is up to a Rs. 14,000 discount on exchange. The 64GB variant is available for Rs. 16,900 with up to Rs. 16,000 off on exchange. The Samsung On8 is available for Rs. 13,490 for the 16GB model with an exchange offer of up to Rs. 12,500.

There's up to Rs. 25,000 exchange offer available for the the Moto Z 64GB model which is listed at Rs. 39,999. Meanwhile the mid-range Moto X Play sees a big drop from Rs. 16,999 to Rs. 11,999 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 13,499 from Rs. 18,499 for the 32GB variant. Another Moto phone in the form of Moto G5 Plus (32GB) priced at Rs. 16,999 is being offered with up to Rs. 16,000 off on exchange.

In the premium smartphone category, the Google Pixel can be bought with a flat Rs. 10,000 off on listed price through all credit/ debit cards. That effectively brings down the price of the Pixel from Rs. 57,000 to Rs. 47,000 for the 32GB variant. Meanwhile, the Pixel XL gets a flat Rs. 6,000 discount on all credit/ debit cards.

The Vivo V5 32GB model is currently priced at Rs. 17,980 on Flipkart and you get up to Rs. 17,000 off on exchange with an extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange. Apple's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are also being offered at special discounted prices for all storage variants. The 32GB iPhone 7 is available for Rs. 47,999 while the 128GB variant of the iPhone 7 Plus is now priced at Rs. 70,899.

There's also a flat Rs. 15,000 off on the Sony Xperia X smartphone, which is now available priced at Rs. 23,990 for the 64GB model.

Flipkart sale on smartwatches

Flipkart is also offering discounts on smartwatches with the Apple Watch Series 1 (42mm) being offered at Rs. 23,900 down from Rs. 25,900. Samsung's Gear S2 sees price drop up to 42 percent with the Silver variant available at Rs. 15,900 down from Rs. 24,300 and the Classic Platinum variant available for Rs. 19,900 down from Rs. 34,500. The Moto 360 Sport is available for Rs. 13,999 while the Fitbit Charge HR is available with a 50 percent discount, and now starts at Rs. 7,495.

Flipkart sale on tablets

Tablets also see some notable offers, including a 16 percent off on the Lenovo Yoga 3, which is now available at Rs. 14,990. The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is now priced at Rs. 37,900 down from Rs. 44,990. The newest iPad from Apple gets a Rs. 1000 off and is now available at Rs. 27,900.
