"4G-based Internet facility allowing users to download the data at the high speed of 8 MBPS will be started by May next", BSNL General Manager G C Pandey announced in a press conference here.
He said the company will roll out first if its modules providing Wi-Fi-based Internet facility to motorists on move in the ongoing financial year itself.
"BSNL's Internet-activated car kit would be available in three types, in the range of Rs. 6500, Rs. 27,500 and Rs. 29,500 (one time payment), which comes along with a standard dial-up plan of Rs. 250 per month, besides other charges on download and fixed monthly charges for the e-car facility", Pandey said.
The general manager said the Indore division has earned a revenue of Rs. 116.5 crore in FY13, and is aiming at earning the revenue of Rs. 147 crore during FY14.
