Snapdeal Sale Offers Include Rs. 7,000 Discount on iPhone 7 and More

Snapdeal is offering a flat discount of Rs. 7,000 on Apple iPhone 7 as part of its ongoing festive season sale. The discount is applicable only to Yes Bank card holders and is valid till 12 noon today or till stocks last.

The Rs. 7,000 discount is on top of the exchange offer Snapdeal is offering for the new iPhone; under this offer, buyers can get up to Rs 20,000 off on the price of iPhone 7, depending on the model they exchange.

Those who want to buy the iPhone 7 Plus, however, will have to head to other e-commerce websites as the smartphone is not listed on Snapdeal at the time of filing this report. The Snapdeal statement announcing the offer does not mention iPhone 7 Plus either.

Snapdeal offered a similar offer in its first Unbox Diwali sale last week, offering a flat Rs. 10,000 discount on American Express cards. However, the company left many a buyer disappointed when it pulled the offer from the website ahead of time without any prior notice.

Apart from the iPhone 7 offer, Snapdeal has tied up with HDFC Bank to provide a 10 percent discount on select goods purchased on the platform.

The company is providing exchange and HDFC Bank cash-back offers on other smartphones as well, such as Apple iPhone 6s, LeEco Le Max 2, Samsung Galaxy J3 with S bike mode etc., under its hourly deals on the last day of the Unbox Diwali sale this week.

Snapdeal in a statement said that home products and large appliances have been big sellers in the company’s Diwali sales so far, with LED TVs, two-in-one notepads and air conditioners being the most popular. Air purifiers are also gaining traction on the website, with Delhi residents among the top buyers. The Snapdeal Puja Store received a lot of footfall as well, said the company.
