Amazon India has released some interesting statistics based on the activities of its Prime members in the country in 2018. Titled, 'Best of Prime', the infographic shared on its website showcases some of the most popular products bought by Amazon Prime members this year. The online retail giant has also shared details about its most consumed digital content and other relevant online shopping habits of its Prime members.

OnePlus 6 was the most popular Prime exclusive smartphone launch this year, according to Amazon India. The smartphone was launched in India earlier in May this year. Although Amazon hasn't revealed exact sales figures, OnePlus had earlier claimed that it was able to grab sales worth Rs. 100 crores within the first 10 minutes of the OnePlus 6 sale on Amazon India.

Amazon Prime customers ordered over 2 billion products around the world with its one-day delivery service which is available for free for all Prime members. Some of the most popular products purchased by Prime members in India include the Fire TV Stick, JBL C100SI earphones, Mi 10,000mAh power bank, Haier 5.8kg washing machine, and the Mi LED TV 4C Pro. Amazon also claims it made some of the quickest deliveries this year with its Prime Now programme. Some products were delivered in under 5 minutes, according to the company.

On the streaming front, Amazon Prime Video's most 'binge-watched' original series this year include Jack Ryan and Homecoming. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel won 8 Emmys, two Golden Globes, and two critics' choice awards. The first season of Prime original Inside Edge was nominated for an international Emmy. The most popular Prime originals in India include Comicstaan, Mirzapur, and Breathe.

Meanwhile, Amazon has also shared the most popular content on Amazon Music. The 'most streamed' artists in India were Arijit Singh and Imagine Dragons. Shape of You by Ed Shereen was the most requested song by Amazon Echo users in India this year. Both Prime Video and Amazon Music are available free of cost to all Prime members in India. Captain Marvel and Avengers Versus Thanos were amongst the top 10 books borrowed by Prime Reading members this year.

Prime Day, Amazon's largest shopping festival of the year, saw over 200 exclusive product launches this year. The Redmi Y2 (32GB, gold) was the top-selling smartphone during this year's sale. During its festive season sales this year, Amazon offered its Prime members an exclusive 12-hour early access to the Great Indian Festival sale. Amazon claims Xiaomi's smart LED TVs were sold out in 10 seconds during its festive sales this year.
