ACT Fibernet Now Offers Up to 150Mbps Broadband in Bengaluru, Upgrades Current Users

After launching broadband speeds up to 150Mbps in Delhi in July, ACT Fibernet has now upgraded broadband connections to speeds of up to 150Mbps in Bengaluru as well. Just like the company did with Delhi, it has also upgraded its current broadband plans for Bengaluru.

In a press release, ACT Fibernet announced that starting September 1, the ACT Progress plan will offer 150Mbps speed with FUP limit set at 1000GB. Post-FUP speeds with this particular plan will be 2Mbps. Before the revision, this plan used to offer a speed of 125Mbps and with a lower FUP limit of 750GB. Just like earlier, the ACT Progress plan will set you back by Rs. 4,999 per month.

On the other hand, the ACT Advance Plan will now give speeds of 150Mbps to the users but with a lower 750GB FUP limit. This plan is being offered by the company at Rs. 3,999. Post FUP limit, the plan will provide a 2Mbps speed just like ACT Progress plan.

Interestingly, the company has also upgraded ACT Essential and ACT Incredible plans to offer speeds up to 150Mbps as well but with lower FUP Limit of 55GB and 350GB respectively. Post the FUP limit the aforementioned plans, available at Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 1,999, will offer speeds up to 2Mbps and 1Mbps respectively.

"ACT Swift has been upgraded to 10 Mbps speed with 50GB FUP limit versus its previous offering of 5Mbps speed and 40GB FUP. ACT Rapid Plus has been upgraded to 50Mbps and 100GB FUP from 30Mbps speed and 70GB FUP, ACT Blaze to 75Mbps speed and 140GB FUP limit from 60Mbps speed and 100GB FUP, ACT Storm to 90Mbps speed and 175GB FUP limit from 75Mbps speed and 125GB FUP, ACT Lightning to 90Mbps speed and 225 GB FUP limit from 75Mbps speed and 175GB FUP," the company said in its release.

Commenting on the upgraded plans, Bala Malladi, CEO at Atria Convergence Technologies said, "At ACT Fibernet we believe in bringing the best experiences to our customers and as a step to further enhance our customer experience, we have upgraded all our plans with higher speeds and enhanced FUP limits. As market leaders in Bangalore we have also launched 150 Mbps speeds for the first time in the city. Our plans will enable superior internet experience especially around entertainment through 4k and HD movies /TV series and downloads. Further, our customers can now enjoy uninterrupted internet services at unmatched speeds in Bangalore."
