D'souza walked us through his personal technology setup, and the apps and gadgets that he loves. A fitness freak, he finds his phone to be the only gadget he can't do without, ever since he got a good fitness tracking app. Read on to know more.

Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?

D'souza: I believe in old school ideas, so at office I prefer using a desktop for my work. But I like to keep up with gadgets; I own an Apple Macbook Pro that I use outside office and on the go. The first thing I look for in a phone is battery life, so I opted for the Lenovo P780, because it doesn't need daily charging.

What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?

D'souza: I am a fitness freak. For me being fit is a lifestyle, so the one app you will most certainly find on my phone is the Fitocracy, which is a fitness tracker app. I think Whatsapp is the most convenient app when it comes to day to day communication, both business or personal, so that is another must have app on my phone and gets used routinely. And of course, I've installed Twitter on my phone for the latest news.

What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?

D'souza: I think I am pretty sorted if I have my phone - it has my emails, business, music, movies, and fitness logs. The phone renders all other gadgets redundant, [especially] when you want to travel light, so I have to say none really!

What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?

D'souza: I am a very simple person, so all I need is for my Macbook to have VLC, Chrome and a powerful Internet connection. That is my perfect setup.

How has technology changed the way in which you work

D'souza: The smartphone revolution has changed the way we live and work. Before we leave the house it becomes important to check if we've carried our wallets, keys and a fully charged cell phone to get through the day. Our lives have become easy and we have the world's information on our fingertips. What more could we ask for?
