The CBSE Class 12 results have been declared, but of the 10.8 lakh students who took the exam, there may be some who did not get as high a score as they expected. For such students, the central education board used to offer two options: reevaluation of the mark sheets and verification of the marks. However, with CBSE 12th results 2017, the provision for re-evaluation of marks has been scrapped, and students can only opt for marks verification. As part of the process, marks in the students’ answer scripts will be totalled again to ensure there has been no error in counting, and no answers were left without being marked. The verification fee is Rs. 500 per subject for CBSE 12th result 2017.
Later, CBSE class 12 students who have applied for verification of marks online will be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book(s) on paying Rs. 700 per subject for Class 12.
If you are opting for CBSE 12th result 2017 marks rechecking, follow these steps to get the form and start the reevaluation process.
The website for verification of CBSE 12th results 2017 online is now open and you can submit your application until June 5. If you are making payment via E- challan (or DD in case the candidate is applying from outside India), you have time until June 7, as per the CBSE website. There's no word on when the verification results will be declared, but it will be before June 14, and they will be uploaded on CBSE's website. Check out CBSE's website for more details related to the 12th class marks verification process.
If you are not satisfied with the rechecking of your marks, you can obtain a photocopy of your evaluated answer book once the CBSE class 12th marks verification process is complete. Applications for this will be accepted from June 14 on the same website mentioned above for the CBSE 12th Result 2017 verification process.
