Excellent mechine

Bought this to ensure clothes dry during the monsoons in Goa. The product was delivered as promised on the day promised. Amazon's delivery timelines seem to have lengthened a bit, perhaps due to the lockdown. The product was installed by an extremely friendly and competent engineer from IFB. Overall, the experience was wonderful. Product performance has been satisfactory, thus far. The product by itself appears to be robust and capable of withstanding rigours of operating in India. From what one can see, it can withstand power surges as it is a electromechanical and not electronic. Experience with the IFB washing machine that mates with this has been positive too.

I don't know why so many people are complaining about the product. It works well; worth the money.

Excellent. Dryes clothes as mentioned. There is a pipe attached to the rear that vents out moist air out of the dryer. So it has to be left in a window. Also lint gets collected inside the dryer thats needs to be cleaned before every use.

This purchase has hidden costs. Wall mounting installation costs Rs 800 officially. But the technician was charging me Rs 1500, whereupon I checked up with the IFB after sales services executive. So be careful

Cant be more happy..was very reluctant to buy after reading the comments.Have been using the IFB washing machine, so went ahead with the dryer.In marker have few brands: Bosch etc which have dryer. But they are double the cost(may be they will draw less electricity).The built quality is cheap and light( reason for Indian market) and thus it is half price.it does a great job.Need to keep in mind few things, light clothes go separate than heavy clothes( jeans etc).Make sure the clothes that are being put for drying have had good spin, before putting them inside, so there is ver less water.

The initially delivered product was defective with the linen filter slightly damaged and the drum not rotating. It must have been damaged in transit. Amazon replaced it promptly with a new one and now it works like a charm. I'm able to dry machine washed laundry in about 90 mins. Works lot better with fabric softeners like bounce.

Have been using IFB dryer for app. 4 years. Touchwood.. it is working fine. ... Am very happy with it. Completely dries the clothes( and that too wrinkle free). Once or twice, it got tripped.... Electrician installed MCB... Now no problem..... Please don?t go by negative reviews. Product is really good. ( I didn?t purchase from Amazon). Clothes dry 100% even in rainy and winter season. Also i use it to air the clothes taken out from closet( Heat removes the allergens). It reduces allergy symptoms(allergic rhinitis)

Good product

Its small. Can be wall mounted. Thats good. But is has hardly any Menu. The only thing you have a choice is hot/ hotter and how many minutes you want it to run. Unlike other dryers, this will wrinkle clothes a lot if used for 90 minutes etc. The drum speed is probably too high. The lint removal is a bonus. We now use it to partially dry clothes occasionally.
