UPDATE: I upgraded to Windows 10 without any hassle and I still am facing no problems at all. A lot of people asking if you can upgrade RAM and internal storage, well the RAM and the 32GB eMMC is soldered to the Motherboard. For the RAM you have go to the service center and change your 2GB to 4/6GB RAM which would be soldered again. For your storage, I'd suggest add a 64/128 GB Micro SD card. This laptop has a direct SD card slot. I have been using this laptop for a month now. I had no issues at all even with these config. This includes a HDMI slot, USB 3.0 with two USB 2.0, a headphone jack, a dedicated micro-SD slot and a 2GB 1333 MHz RAM (You can increase later as per your needs). The speakers are pretty loud and the in-built camera quality is really good too. The touch-pad is flawless and the display you get is Anti-glare, which a lot of laptop in this price range do not offer with Windows 8.1. I would want to clear out to all that this is not an SSD, this is eMMC (embedded MMC) which is like a flash storage fixed on the motherboard. Marginal difference in terms of speed (better) compared to a regular HDD. Now coming to my usage of this product - I do not run heavy applications such as Photoshop. I just use chrome browser (I open 10-15 tabs in a go), MS Office, Skype / PDF to Word converter and similar applications to these level of softwares. I have just added a 32GB Micro-SD card to store a few TV series and still runs smooth. Yes, a lot of people did tell me that, if I had put more 2-3K more I would have got 15.6 inches with 500GB HDD however, I still chose this as I have a desktop with 1TB HDD and Full HD monitor and 2TB WD passport. No point of this additional 400+GB space. I have everything what I need already. My main motive was to carry a small but a good display laptop to work everyday. Choose wisely what you need. Don't just buy stuff coz it offers more. They say - IF YOU BUY THINGS YOU DO NOT NEED, SOON YOU WILL HAVE TO SELL THINGS YOU NEED.? - WARREN BUFFET

This would be an excellent netbook/laptop for what it provides ... IF it sold for about 14-15k, which is equal to its USD price of $230 (and that is what this is worth -- no HD screen, no touch, no HDD) -- Why should HP/Indian retailers cheat Indian customers? Will update once price comes down to correct point!

Pros: Excellent system. Fast and good enough for browsing and youtube videos. Battery life is great as it doesn't have a HD. Cons: No LAN port unlike other laptops. only about 20 GB of usable memory.

A really good product, best in class, perfect in look, easy to carry and best specifications. The only thing is hdd which is only 32 gb but i already have a laptop and want something easy to carry and mostly to use internet and the basic software I find this product really good.

excellent laptop for home use. looks very smart. great battery life about 7-8 hours. screen in non-glare and good enough. design is sturdy, superlative with classy white keys. great for online surfing, music, ms office, school work. since its 2gb ram its not the best for heavy duty gaming but games from ms store play just great. music speakers are very loud and great, just a little tinny. windows 10 works just great on the laptop, just you'll be left with about 6 to 8 gb of space but you can add a sd card of upto 256 gb. very strong wifi adapter that catches even the weakest signals. its very light in weight. perfect for a budget laptop or a second laptop for home or office.

It's almost three days I'm using this laptop. The product is good and is very light weight. Very useful for everyday purpose .

Pros : --13.5 inch is good enough to study and browse --It is very light --After opening a word document , excel , google chrome with 5-6 tabs and adobe reader with songs playing in background in windows media player , this works fine . (I have upgraded to windows 10 ) --Speakers are good, and so are the mic and webcam . Even keyboard look pretty and comfortble --Wifi strength is good . --Looks is great . Catches attention of friends easily . --It wakes from sleep in less than a second (yes it is ) -- Battery backup is more than 6 hrs .. Close to 7 Cons : --During upgrade to windows 10 , my recovery of 7 gb was deleted automatically . Please make sure to keep a external backup before making the upgrade if you want to keep the recovery file . (You can use a pen drive of 8 gb ) -- Left space is very less in the drive (11gb used by windows files , 1.5 for virtual memory , aroud 3-5 for applications , 1 for hibernation and 1-2 used by recovery files ) So effectively around 7-8 gb will be left . You have to use it wisely . Got it for 16 k. Flipkart service was awesome. Upgraded to W10 the day I had hands on it. Smooth as fish. I primarily use Word, browse web, listen to music using pandora or 8 tracks. I keep all of them on at the same time, and it never had any issues. Storage was never an issue, as I have this weird urge to delete stuff. The keyboard is comfy. No issues with trackpad as reported by some. Sound quality is better than most laptops in the range of 30k-50k provide. If you are not a gamer, or a professional who uses high-end software, I don't see why you waste your hard-earned money.

I am in love with it. Beautiful looks and great performance for basic tasks. It took a while on startup with a few account & password creations. Then had to download office 365 which is free for a year. Special mention of the backpack - its awesome. Lappy is superfast and screen resolution is also good enough. (soothing to eyes). Feather weight. Have to buy a 64GB SD card and now that additional expenditure. Overall a great product and I have always trusted HP since the last 9 years. Thanks Flipkart.

just like you would never order fish n chips just for the chips you should also not order a top configuration machine if your just going to be using it for surfing the net, online shopping, paying bills and watching movies.. this HP note book made for a perfect gift for my wife, she loves it and it's just right for her, sleek, light, good looking and most importantly practical for all her usage, it works perfectly well with our Airtel 4G too... I've had loads of friends asking for the model details and I would recommend this (check for the features you need) as a good buy.. well done HP & well done Flipkart

Good screen size, very fast booting compared to HDD lap tops. Light in weight. Had memory crunch during upgrading to free Windows 10 version 1511, which was resolved by HP online support in 20 minutes. Excellent battery life, approximately 7to 8 hours. Best part it comes with Operating software Win 8.1 upgradable to Win 10 and (Office 365 for 12 months.) No need of other antivirus as windows 10 is having in built antivirus. Very satisfied.

Nice and easy to carry. Im using it for presentations works . But it cant handle heavy apps. I can see the lag.

Everything about this laptop is just fantastic. Not suitable for heavy gaming. You only get 5-6 GB for usage out of 32 GB. Be ready to buy a 32/64 GB memory card for this laptop. I have been using this laptop heavily from Aug/sept 2015 and have not come across any problem. The laptop is worth of its price. Lightweight, heavy browsing, good battery life, good screen resolution are the positive sides.

I purchased it from retail shop outside for around 17k . I have been using it for around 6months. No complains as of yet. Battery backup is amazing.1 TB skydrive, office 365, 1 yr accidental warranty makes it a deal for money.

You get what you pay for. Less money = Low Performance. Once you upgrade to windows 10, you don't have sufficient storage. Make sure you get an external hard drive along with this purchase. Only buy this if you don't have other option. The only thing that's great is the look. It's a good choice if you are low on budget and want a reliable laptop. Totally reliable if you install Elementary OS after buying. It's super awesome with Elementary OS
