This is one of the best deals in tech! & an excellent laptop for general tasks. I bought this Laptop when I was in US for my son. The performance is good, boots up fast, streams videos/Movies great. Amazing screen and a solid build, but the keyboard is decent. The display,sound and performance are great. The color and lightweight (little over 3lbs) design are also nice features. Overall amazing buy at this price point. Totally recommend it!!

Was using this laptop in the US. My preference was a light weight laptop that can do all my day to day activities like mails, browsing and MS office and has the juice to last for atleast 4 hours. This machine ticked all the boxes effortlessly. Have been using this for the past few months and am happy to see this being launched in India. Moreover the laptop is fast with a 32GB SSD and build quality is premium. The biggest boon is its extremely light (tablet levels) and easy to carry around... Keep a HD handy for storage if you travel a lot, otherwise the 1TB cloud is more than enough...

Very good Pocket-friendly laptop. Love working on this machine. The screen resolution is the best that you can get at this price. The processing speed not at all slow, as suggested by some about Celeron Dual Core. A very good computer to be used at home. Battery life is also better than expected. I will give this laptop a rating of 4.6 out of 5 for overall performance at a price point less than Rs 20000.

Very good device for the price point. 3g WWLAN is a huge plus point. The battery lasts long with almost 7 hours of work on full brightness and internet usage. I wish it was available in grey/black color but blue is OK as well. Build quality is fine but leaves a lot to be desired. As usual, HP bloatware needs to be removed which is easy process. Keyboard is nice with good key feedback. Touchpad is not that bad as stated in few reviews. Overall I am happy with the device.

I brought this lappy ,after extensive research for a gorgeous lady ,whom i could fall in love with ,lol. and finally i found this one. its one of the beast looking notebooks out there in the market.,even if you spend 8-9k more ,you wont get this premium designed notebook. i think i have got a defective one or this problem is with others too ,idk . some of the keys are quite noisy as well as the touchpad feels like it is badly fitted , well i have asked for the replacement ,though. ets ee the pros and cons i noticed : pros plays full hd and even 4k uhd movies butter smooth ,if run from the windows media plays , it lags a lot while pllaying it through vlc ,even hd ones . dont know how to fix it , i figure it out . the most gorgeous looks it has got, in this budget good for handling light applications ,browsing, ms office ,and for normal usage its lightweight and compact , comes a lot handy at times despite 3 cell battery , it gives an exceptional backup of 5 hrs( hd videoplayback) atleast ,watched a lot of movies on it, but gets laggy if played in vlc ,the. mp4 runs fine on windows media player which doesnt support .mkv filetype . comes with a lot of offers , the sdHC for 199 ,32gb class 10,and the wd elements 2.5 inches 1 tb hdd for 3400 . ,ill buy that between 15-30 jan. and the preactivated win. 8.1 and ms office ,the latest ver. and of course ,the hp the trusted brand manufactured cons. cant play even mid range games ,flawlessly .,not meant for that slightly lags sometimes , the brightness is quite low , should have been much better ssd 32 gigs ,no hard disk low on ram only 2 gigs no GPU included , for better performance screen size should have been greater , its 11 inches ,should have been 13 inches atleast overall ,specs wise its ZERO , but looks wise and for normal usage its awesome , cause of my rating is because i needed some good buy ,which looks aweso. and is perfect for normal usage . so my side thumbs up!!!!!!

This laptop is very good for day to day usage . You can also inser sd card. But this laptop costs 200$ in US = 12650 ruppes so if you have any one in US tell them to send you one :) and happy new year

This laptop is really great and packed with high performance hardware... Its loaded with WIN 8 and it looks stunninng.. i also saved few bucks from MINTADEAL. you need to just go through them.

The machine is worth buying./ good performance overall. Sound is also too good. and anyone looking for a notebook must go for this one.

For me these 3 points sealed the deal - 1. 3G sim card slot - lets you get rid of the irritating dongle and provides (hopefully) better connectivity 2. Looks - the blue color looks cool 3. Portability - this weighs i think around 1.2Kg and is one of the few notebooks which you can carry in a sleeve in your hands rather than carrying in your backpack.

Really light and stylish product.So light that i take it everywhere i go. the battery lasts up to 6.5 hrs even when i watch a movie. its awesome for everyday use/light work like excel, ppt, mailing etc. I faced some issues while doing very heavy stuff that i normally used to do on my laptop with intel i5 but given the price, battery life, the mobility it allows me, this is one of my best buy.

Blue color looks really nice and with sim card slot i can be connected all the time... Stylish product... with cool features...

the best thing about this laptop is its color...the blue color gives it an awesome look. i was going to buy a tablet for my mom but went for this instead since my mom can type easily on this...and its weight is also less than 1.5 which is cool..

Really its cheap in flipkart i found this product outside flipkart for ?24999 and so i got it from flpkrt Pros:- 1}it has good keyboard i.e its having chicklet keyboard 2}Really its having good and long lasting battery. 3}the dts sound is good with those inbuilt speakers but is more good when u connect it with a headphone 4}the touch pad is also bigger like those of 15.6inch laptops and it also have many features which makes u feel more comfortable 5}and last of all its having the latest win 8.1 cons:- 1}the space i.e.the ssd capacity is too low ,after those space required for windows and recovery only 12gb is left and u've to use a external sd card 2}the display is not too vivid but its okay in such price

ts superb laptop if you understand your requirement and go through capabilities of this laptop before buying. Pros: . I always wanted to buy a sleek laptop and almost zero'ed in on Macbook Air which blows everything else away but ended up with this as it has windows OS which I can use to run almost every application. . Got this from US for 199 dollars so its a steal in INR 12000. . Able to play all types of videos, music etc. I dont play games on laptop so haven't tried that yet. Good sound. Connected to my HDTV via HDMI port/cable and worked just fine. . Really lightweight, compact. Good display. Contrary to many reviews, I didn't find keyboard & trackpad finicky and cheap at all. It does the work. . I use this to connect to office n/w as BYOD is supported. So my entire office work is getting done on this laptop now. Easy to travel with as well. All in all, its a great low-end substitute for Surface pro 3 (USD 800), Macbook Air (USD 800) & Chromebooks. Cons: . Wont run much of heavy duty applications like Visio, itunes outlook with 20 gigs of PST and 5 tabs of browser open. Buy other laptop if you want super charged experience. . Colour and aesthetics. Doesnt come in black. Though I love the Horizon Blue colour, some may not like it. . CPU can be sluggish and browser can be nonresponsive some times. Remove all the bloatware and do not run many applications together. This can save the CPU from getting hammered.

Hi people.. This seemed a perfect laptop until I saw it does not have touchscreen. Can anybody tell me (who have used both touch and non touch laptop) how big a difference is between touch and non-touch laptops while running windows 8/8.1?/?

After using 3 to 4 days..feel, design of the laptop is very good..very wide spread keyboard easy to typing without any clumsy & most important feel good while typing..track pad is very good excellent response with multi gestures supports..you feel price is bit high side but the build quality let you amazed..windows 8.1 with latest features, microsoft office 365 is excellent...processor is very good with multitasking capabilities, rendering graphics smoothly ..battery back up about 6 hrs..overall loved it...hard disk may be a bit larger side

Recently brought this laptop from Fipkart , Few points made by me after using laptop for last 8 days . 1) US version might cost 220$ but it doesn't come with Simcard so a + point for India users 2) Simcard tray is located on left side of laptop but it is open and no cover for simcard and Hsd card slot and SD card sticks out which is downside of this laptop . 3) Built in Mobile broadband works fins on tested BSNL and Airtel network but it behaves like a dongle some time i get connection errors which can happen in 3g dongles. 4) Processor is good for light work but it does hangs after use for few hours. 5) Battery life under wifi usage last 6 hours but under Simcard usage will last max 3 to 4 hours max . 6) laptop is light weight ,screen in ok to work on but cannot be compared to bigger 14 inch laptops. 7) Storage after windows 8 only 11GB is available for user usage which is less you can use pen-drives or SD card to increase laptop memory . 8) Blue might looks odd in picture but it looks ok in reality and will attract curious people around you when used in public space 9) Windows 8.1 is quick and comes with much more features then windows 7 which i use in main laptop of mine . 10) Apps in windows store is pretty much useless but light games works fine but due to pace constrain cannot load many other software's in it . 11) I have used Ipad and Android tablets in past but work you can get done on laptop can be done on this netbooks which why i went for it . 12) For Professionals who are not happy with ipads / android tablets but also not able to buy ultrabooks which are out of budget can go for this netbook as second pc .

I am having an issue, that the internet usage bill is crossing limits since I bought this. Why so, Do anyone have a clue over this? Else the looks,performance is fine.

Its great offer by HP but the configuration and the performance Vs price combination is not good. As i got this laptop in $ 198 (USD) which is about Rs 12500 (INR), it is not justified to pay Rs 7500 additional. 32 GB Memory is very less which is one of the drawback as it is next to impossible to maintain the necessary documents. This minimum size should not be less than 56 GB to get the basic use of a notebook. I am not satisfied with CDC processor to handle the Windows 8. Overalll.... Not useful

It is a beautiful small laptop for net surfing and other works when one want to be light weight and simultaneously do not like using IPad or Tabs. The resolution and the viewing angles are good. The con is the storage which is merely 11.5 GB excluding the OS.

Firstly, this is the most basic laptop one can ever expect. Not much of a memory, but still can be bought if you're gonna use it just for the sake of documents. Very handy, catchy and smooth finish. Not so fit for students, if you're to use it for games and full hd videos/movies. It seems a bit slow lately after few months of usage.
