I have been using this laptop for about 6 months. So far, didn't find any performance or battery issues. I bought it for performing high-performance tasks like AutoCAD, multi-tasking between applications and a lot of gaming. You can play decent games like GTA 5 too (medium level settings, of course !!!) but medium level settings of GTA 5 still looks good.When not gaming, battery backup is a decent 5-6 hours still which is very very satisfying.The only con is the Windows 10 Home edition you get pre-installed but that's up to your requirements because for me my work demands features of Windows 10 Professional edition. Not a big problem though, I will have to buy that edition :)All in all, if you want a great laptop that can run mid-level games along with other high-performance daily tasks - this is the one without any doubt.

Well i did not use it for gaming to be honest ,but I bought just coz I needed a faster base speed in my laptop for working and I am very satisfied with the performance of the laptop other than the slow boot time ( that I think can be solved easily by fitting in a SSD). Very nice and very satisfied. Does not hang and does not slow down, good battery backup for office use.

Amazing gaming laptop with a beautiful design and specs. A great value for money and comes with a beautiful purple keypad lighting to add on to its merits.

Must Buy Laptop.The build quality is very good and it has a very good design but the keybord is not much recomeded for gaming you should buy a small mechanical keybord to play battle royale games perfectly.The speakers are the best .The display and body gives a premium look for gaming.The fan sound is sometimes noisy when playing hardcore games.Cod Ww2-65 fps at high settingGta 5 60fps at high settingsDark souls 3 -50-60 At very high settingsTekken 7 60fps+at ultra settingFar cry 5 45-60 at medium to high setting

This is a good product for diverse usage. Wether it's movies, or games or office work this is a good laptop and it looks good also.If you want specific gaming purpose laptop then go for other higher end models. My use is basically for movies and the sound and picture quality is very nice.

The laptop is best used for gaming purpose and high aided technical softwares used for academic purpose.The SSD storage adds to its beauty. I got the original copy of Ms office which is totally worth. The cut design on two sides gives bold design yet the screen seems little delicate.The screen resolution surely blows the mind. An excellent battery life of 4.5 hrs on a 80-90% charge. Overall an all fair - all good HP product. Go for it.

Am using this laptop from 3 months. No doubt this laptop is great for entry level gamers and content creation. This is a great choice for students. The screen quality, sound, speed, cooling, keyboard, touchpad is magnificent. The GTX 1050 works great. The thing I liked that when the laptop heated or overheated, it's cooling works rapidly and cools down the temperature between 2-3 minutes.Now come to the bad things which I have face and that is terrible. Am now facing Plugged in, Not charging problem. When I plug the charger then the baty icon on the taskbar shows that the charger is plugged in but not charging I tried everything to solve this but nothing happened. I have seen many of people facing same problem who has this laptop. The charger is aslo get heated up like fire. From previous 15 days am facing USB Device not detected problem. Mouse and keyboard are not detected. But when I apply some pressure on cord move it, it starts detecting but when I release pressure, it again undetected. This is terrible. HP needs to do something about this laptop. There are new versions of this laptop are also available on the market now at same price. Skip this laptop if you want long term good performance laptop.

Battery is draning very fast it last only for 1.5 hrsHey guys dont buy this laptop , I have purchased this laptop in dec 2018 i have a bad experience with batteryso many times i have called hp service center but they are not doing any thing only wasting my time.

Battery doesn?t last for more than two hours of continuous use. I have used hp and dell laptops before. Batteries were definitely longer lasting.

It used to hang a lot.... don't waste your money on this.....after using 5days I am totally get irritated with this filthy one....hp should be banned for making such a bad product....hate it
