Liked this laptop and its features.

This laptop has replaced the outgoing laptop 516tx which was already a beast. And this is a new series having ddr4 RAM and better nvidia graphics. Bought this from a local store at 52000 and it is truly worth the purchase. BEST LAPTOP.

Bought offline, from HP authorised store for 54K, about 50 days ago. HP AU series is successor to the HP AB series, which was no doubt an amazing mid range option for laptop buyers. HP AU is the upgrade over AB series, with DDR4 RAM (DDR3L RAM in AB series). Does DDR4 really matters? In real life, not much. But if you're a heavy user, you'll really see this machine with 4th Gen RAM stick (DDR4) really performs well. It has one 8GB RAM stick already installed and has the room for one more 8GB RAM stick, which you can upgrade to 16GB a couple of years later. The battery is of a little more than 5000mAh and is non removable. Don't worry, you can press the power button for 5 seconds to shut it down, in hung up state. It gives a battery backup of more than 8 hours while watching 1080p movies on low brightness, and gives you around 3+ hours of backup while gaming. It gets fully charged in a little more than 1 and an half hour (when switched off). It has 2GB of Nvidia 940MX as dedicated graphics card and 4GB of internal graphics card, that givea you a total of 6GB of graphics card. I've played a few games and performance was not bad. GTA V was lagging a lot at very high settings, but on normal setting, it was running smoothly, there was not much noticeable difference in graphics quality at normal and very high settings. Need For Speed Rivals is working pretty well on very high settings with 24fps at max, that game has some issue and don't go past 25fps on high end graphic cards (maybe i was using pirated game). Project Cars and GRID Autosport was working very well on highest settings with up to 30fps, even at 30fps you won't notice any lag. I would say, for a laptop at this price, it has a pretty good gaming performance, after all, it's a mid range gaming laptop. And yes, having a 4GB graphics card won't make performance better, it can just load more content on the memory, so i would say, don't go for 4GB GPU model and same some money for the laptop accessories. It has one of the most beautiful designs, those net kind of metal hinges are actually make it look more beautiful and works better. Because it don't have removable battery, it is less wider than AB series. Viewing angle are not great. Screen quality is same as AB series. Keyboard is exactly the same as AB series but it's backlit feature is less brighter. But it does not make any difference, more light from the keyboard actually shows a reflection on the screen in dark, so the backlit light on the AU003's keyboard is perfect. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports with max transfer speed of 119MB/s-60MB/s (read/write - tested with WD My Passport Ultra 3.0 Harddrive). It comes with Windows 10 Home Single Language. It gives little less than 950GB usable (I'm little lazy to sum up the partitions). Trackpad is wider, feels better. B&O speakers sound more than that of AB series (maybe because of new driver). Webcam is the worst thing in this Laptop. It isn't as that good as in other laptops (compared with AB series and Asus ROG series). I am using this laptop for long now, and i really like this machine. I searched a lot for 1 month before buying this laptop, as i was going to purchase a laptop after 8 years, so i needed the value for money again, and i didn't make the wrong choice. I'm very much happy with it's looks and performance. I will say, go for this one, if you're looking for a laptop to use for next 3-5 Years. This will not disappoint you guys.

Review after 2 days of use After doing so many research online I have decided to go with HP brand only. I found this laptop suitable within my range and having decent configuration. The main feature which attracted e for this machine is 2 gb Nvidia Ge force Grahics card. I have purchased this laptop through flipkart only and got delivery 2 days after the order placing. The packgin was good and laptop was perfectly sealed. In the package I was also having one H Laptop backpack which was said to be in offer with this laptop. No other accessories are been provided with this laptop. Heating is nil. Weight of laptop is around 2.5kg. screen quality is good. The metal finish on this laptop is awesome and its color are very much professional. Allover it is power packed device Only the thing is we cannot remove the battery of the laptop. Although we can change it by contacting HP authorized center or any laptop servicing station but it is not readily removable. But I dont find That I have to remove the battery anytime in future. My suggestion is you should go for it.

Laptop is best in price range. Hardware is perfect for engineering student. And best part is we can play games too with any problem. Windows boots really fast. File transferring is very fast.

Gd product...

After many researches I found this laptop is better for me.....@54,000 I was using this laptop for 2 months and through online registration I got free gifts from HP. It was too good for normal users (for browsing, etc.....) The display is good but not at side angles......

The laptop was delivered in 2 days flat, it was exactly as per specification, and we got a very nice laptop bag. The graphics is nice.

I bought this product for Rs 40,000 by exchange offer during big billion day. I got it delivered within expected date. I feared to buy expensive products like laptops online , but I went for this one, the product is very good , no damage ,brand new flipkart has done excellent job in delivering this item. About laptop Pros It comes with windows 10 installed in it, great looks, excellent sound quality, backlight keyboard is nice, good specs, nice big screen. Cons Battery does not last long it needs to be plugged in, I think a 2cell battery is not sufficient for a powerful machine like this. Display should have antiglare as this laptop comes with graphics card and all. Verdict: great laptop go for it and buy it from flipkart as they give good offers. Many people post misleading reviews about this ,go for it go for flipkart
