Very great laptop with stunning performance. Even Arkham Knight, Raise of Tomb Raider, GTA V are playing without any issues. No over heating issues. High battery backup. Cons: No driver update software. Have to check manually. Sound is not that great and design could be better.Otherwise it is the best gaming laptop ever.

BEST DEAL FOR UR MONEY!!!

I bought this one few days ago after a thorough research. Now this is what I think....Why did I buy this?Best deal for money. Other models with similar specs are atleast 20k costlier. Asus gl553 was my other option and it was 25k more expensive. Acer n Lenovo wid similar specs were not visually appealing to me. Besides I got dis one for a good deal from my local HP dealer in chennai. I paid 1,07,600 Rs and also got a nice omen themed backpack n a wireless mouse along.Looks n build..It looks slim, light weighted, very mildly game themed unlike other gaming models which r awkwardly designed n heavily stickered. So u can very well carry it to ur office as well.Display n sound...Matte finish display could hav been better but u won't notice it when u r in a game... Excellent viewing angles n pleasant to eyes. Some display calibration definitely helps. Sound s jus alright n needs some tweaking too.Performance....This s where it got me really surprised. Loads OS from ssd in a few secs. Played all games at maxed out graphics without a jerk at excellent fps levels. U will realize hw d Gtx 1050ti makes a difference here:)... U will love it.Cooling n battery...Surprisingly I found d cooling very efficient even after hours of gaming and was less noisier.. Battery s mediocre... Roughly about 2 hrs of gaming and 4-5 hrs of browsing n movie viewing...WANT AN EVEN BETTER DEAL?Go for ax249tx which costs 97k and u won't notice any difference in performance at all.. Only difference is it's got a core i5. At present none of d games I noticed utilize all d cores of an i7.

After comparing lots of laptops & reading lots of reviews, I had finalised this laptop (I had budget around 1 lakh). And it didn't disappoint me at all till now. I'm writing this review after 2 months of using this little beast. For a gaming laptop it's very slim in design & comes with dual fans in the back center for heat dissipation. It has carbon fiber texture finish, red backlit keyboard with on/off button, 2 usb 3.1, 1 usb 2.0, 1 HDMI out, card reader, 1 RJ-45, 1 mic/headphone combo 3.5mm jack. It has full HD resolution anti-glare 15.6" screen which is good enough for casual gamer. It's specs are:7th Gen i7-7700hq processor with base freq of 2.8 GHz & with turbo boost upto 3.8GHzNvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB dedicated graphics16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4-2400 RAM which HP says is maximum expandable for this laptop.1TB HDD 7200 rpm & 128GB Samsung SSDNo Optical Drive.Bang & Olufsen Speakers which are just good enough for casual music. It comes with Windows 10 Home 64 bit. Also I got Office Home & Student 2016 free with this which is pre installed.McAfee Livesafe 1 year Subscription pre installed.I chose this because I needed slim lightweight & high-on specs with dedicated graphics card laptop. You can choose accordingly for your requirements. Now there is a newer version of this Omen 15.6" laptop with i7 processor same specs but with additional usb-C port & thick in size as other gaming laptops are.

Excellent New Gaming Laptop By HP

Simply put, I LOVE this laptop. I have had many mid to high end gaming desktops in the past however as I was starting a computer games development course in college this year I decided I was going to opt in for a higher end gaming laptop and was originally eyeing the 2016 model of the Omen Laptop and then saw that this newer (and in my opinion much better looking) model had just been released.I picked it up for Rs.109,990.00 and although that is a fair whack of money being spent on a piece of kit, It was absolutely worth it.This laptop can run anything I throw at it.The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt High - Ultra settings is running at a constant 70+ FPS.Prey - Ultra settings 80+ FPS constant.Player Unknown's Battlegrounds - 70-100+ FPS *This Game Is Still Being Optimized*Rise of The Tomb Raider - High Preset 75Fps in Benchmark.Battlefield 1 - 75 - 90 FPS High/Ultra Settings.Dark Souls 3 - Epic Settings 60+ FPS Constant.Dishonored 2 - High Settings 60+ FPS.And the list goes on and on...Using demanding applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Unity 3D and 3D Modelling applications like Blender are an absolute breeze with this machine. The panel is also MUCH better than I expected it to be with high adobe color accuracy and sharp, crystal clear 1080p resolution. You won't have any problems doing some professional work on this laptop. The laptop itself is extremely compact for a machine of this spec. It's probably a little bit heavier than what other regular laptops would weigh but if you go for the GTX 1060 version you get Nvidia's new Max-Q design which has been purposely designed to make the laptop thinner, quieter and more efficient on power. However, the power chord and brick that comes with this laptop is quite beefy and heavier than most I would say. You should keep this in mind if you are going to be carrying this around a college campus all day. I wouldn't recommend getting one of those side shoulder laptop cases for this, It's simply too heavy. You would be much better off getting a backpack style laptop case here. The laptop feels as though It's built like a tank. There is no flex and no creaking to be found. It feels great to type on and the trackpad is among the best I've ever had on a laptop (this is coming from someone that thinks trackpads should be flayed alive on the sacrificial alter).Pros:-You get your money's worth.-Very good Gaming capabilities, Video editing, software development.-It's perfect for that traveling businessman that needs to get his gaming on while having work stuff on it to whip it out and project his/her stuff with confidence.-Perfect for that gamer that needs performance and durability in a laptop.-Good battery life 6-8 hours for work/homework/web browsing. 2-4 hours of gaming; 2.5 hours of hardcore gaming.Cons:-Seems like whatever game you play, once you unplug the power cord, your frames FPS will drop significantly-It is on the heavy side, for a laptop.-Backlight color cannot be changedIn short, the best and DEFINITELY most premium looking and feeling laptop I've ever owned. It runs like an absolute beast and I have genuinely no complaints with it. The only thing that I should mention is that if you plan on doing heavy tasks and gaming on this you are going to be required to remain plugged into the charger as doing heavy tasks will drain the battery life VERY quickly, however this is common knowledge for all gaming laptops.HIGHLY Recommended!
