I bought this Laptop p045tx recently (15/07/2014) after lot of search for a better laptop around 60,000/-, finally concluded with two choices the HP 15-p045tx and the Lenovo Z50-70. Both seems to be perfect for a laptop with this budget, I tried using both the laptops finally concluded with the HP 15-045tx. The reason why? both HP and Lenovo are 4th gen i7 but HP has 4510U and Lenovo has 4500U, HP processor speed is higher with 2.0GHz with turbo boost upto 3.1GHz, were Lenovo runs with1.8GHz turbo boost upto3.0GHz. Design wise HP 15-p045tx looks awesome and better than the Lenovo Z50-70 coz it has a basic standard look. The only thing that Lenovo comes ahead is with the graphic with 4GB NVIDIA Geforce 840M were the HP comes with a 2GB same graphic card. 2GB NVIDIA Geforce 840M itself can play all 2014 games, and the best part HP comes with Beats audio.

Super performance. No hustles in using the product. I'm very happy with the performance. It would have been great with one more USB port and the placements at an user friendly place. Or else its a nice product to own.

The Product: Excellent laptop and with fairly good specifications. Most games/softwares to be released in 2015 & 16 can be played without difficulties. Additional offers from HP are good too. Flipkart: The pricing is excellent and delivery prompt. A true value for money.

I got this beautiful laptop after comparing it with various other laptops from Dell and the Lenovo Z50. on papers Z50 would have a 4 GB Graphics, however its the same chipset with enhanced memory. The same Nvidia 840 Chipset with 2GB and 2Ghz Processor (I7) and 8GB Ram on this laptop helps us keep performance and portability balanced. A bigger memory graphics card would drain more battery and would prevent the very use of owning a laptop, however I needed bot performance and portability, so chose this one. Regarding eating issues, well, I have played fifa 2014 for a full night without cooling pads and Airconditioning. Still the laptop was not even warm. Overall!!! Go for it!!

Firstly... Like always, Flipkart once again amazed me with its fast delivery. Ordered the product around midnight... and they brought it to my doorstep next day afternoon... thats little mre than 12 hours.... and it certainly exceeded my expectations. I bought this for my son who recently joined a engineering college. I wanted to give him a machine thats not more than Rs.60K and its good for his college work, programming as well as some gaming. With 4th Gen Ci7 + 8GB RAM + NVIDIA GeForce GT840M + 2GB Graphic Memory + 15.6 inches screen... is a excellent bargain for its price tag. I bought this product under exchange offer from Flipkart. Gave away a 3yr old Lenovo machine that I had and got Rs.7000 discount. That was an added benefit. Ah well... and the laptop arrived with original HP branded backpack. The delivery person was courteous as he checked the machine I gave away for exchange offer. However he was insisting on the original box in which the laptop came. Flipkart should give clear instruction to their delivery people that usually nobody would keep the box of a three year old laptop! Overall... very happy & satisfied.

This is really unbelievable at its price. Anything you need to do this can handle it like a piece of cake. Its smooth too and has a very good built quality. Its touchpad is really great. Gaming? This is the laptop FOR GAMING! I think this can beat most of the PCs! All games run smoothly. Really if your budget is 60k then this is the one I recommend.

i purchased this laptop from a hp store and it costed me 59k. i purchased it on 15th jan and now am finally writing this review after checking and inspecting this laptop in every aspect ( being an engineering student ) 1) i7 processor with 8 gb ram and 2gb 840m graphics is enough to drive anyone crazy.. it IS a powerful machine indeed. The processor is 4510U , i.e.. lower voltage processor which are designed for multimedia purposes ( as per reviews read on internet) but games fine pretty fine. 2) 2 GB 840m graphics lies in medium range graphics , which means any game can be run on the laptop without lag , but high end games needs to be optimized. 3)battery ,, this is one of the biggest pro. it has amazing battery life because of the type of processor. 4) beats sound wont impress you much... nothing newer than a normal sound machine. NOW the best thing.. i installed GTA 5 , 4 days back . and guess what it runs amazingly on this machine. i have played crysis 3 , call of duty : mordern walfare , FIFA 15 . and they all run just fine :) 4) the color .. the laptop is a beauty but it comes with an expense of regular cleaning and maintenance. you need to buy keyboard silicon covers because it gets easily dirty. VERDICT- this laptop as the title suggest's is A BEAUTY WITH A BEAST.

i purchased d laptop on 22nd nov 2014, on receiving the laptop i realised it had multiple issues. hardware n software. i had to go through a 2-3weeks process of contacting hp and flipkart. flipkart was helpful but the entire process was a pain. got my DOA n got replacement on d 15th of december!!! but guess what the replacement was also messed up.. i had minor problems. on giving it to service centre i realised it needs a hardisk replacement. yest i got it replaced n problem still not fixed. now i gotta get the motherboard replaced. so since my date of purchase.. that b 22nd nov to now 18th jan i hv not got a fully fuctioning product!! pathetic!

A 'just go for it' device from HP. And flipkart's service just gets better and better.Delivered within just 3 days after ordering. Coming to the laptop...a lightning fast beast with a smiting color and attractive sleek design. Writing this review after 3 months of usage. Pros Everything except cons ) Cons Touchpad HP bloatware A bit of heating when gaming but cools down in a second after turning them off. McAfee and MS office are trial versions --------------------------------Detailed review below----------------------------------------------------------------- Display:- Display of the laptop is very good and doesn't cause any problem when using it in the sun.Although it glares a little but it's not that noticeable. Keyboard:- Awesome keyboard but is a bit over-sensitive and sometimes it double-presses the text. Touchpad:- The only thing I don't like about this laptop is the gesture-supported HP touchpad. It's so useless and just causes chaos when using the touchpad. It takes at least a month to get familiar with it. I recommend to turn it off if you have problems like me. Also, touchpad is a bit unresponsive. Speakers & mic:- Speakers seem fine not so good but can play your favourite song decently has good quality but are not loud. Mic is not so good it always get's the noise from background even after turning on noise cancellation. Gaming:- Now the most important thing. It contains NVIDIA GEFORCE 840m 2gb which's a fine graphic card. Game tests- Assassin creed 3- high(30fps) Assassin's creed unity- After patching med 25+ fps Counter Strike GO- 35+ fps ultra If you want more games and fps just google nvidia geforce 840m gaming performance and you'll get it. Performance:- The laptop packs very high specs and proves itself to it. 8 gigs of ram makes everything super fast. A TB of hardisk that's sufficient and an i7 what more do you want? Verdict- Just hit that buy now button 'cause this is the best at this price range.

Now I have been using this laptop for a week and have played a lot of games including Assassin's Creed, NSF, COD, Crysis, etc. I have played them all in high graphics setting and have not faced any kind of lag. The games runs very smoothly. But, the laptop becomes very hot. The exhaust seems to a hair dryer while playing games. HP's cool sense does not seems to work at that point. We have to use a cooling pad. It comes with beats audio. But we don't get loud volumes and bass from the speakers. Apart from this, the performance teamed with Windows 8.1 is excellent. The laptop has a cool textured look and with not gather scratch very easily. Build quality is good. The bag that came with it is really cool and of great quality. So if you want a gaming laptop under 60K, this is the best according to me.

I got this laptop from Saudi Arabia last year November, and its a year since i am using it. i have to say this laptop really does it. an excellent and light weight laptop. able to play most of the high end games. excellent brightness and i have to say, great battery backup. the fact is. i am writing this review from the same laptop. from Saudi, i got this as HP Pavilion 15-e072sx model. Recommended for daily life use, and i have windows 8.1 Pro running right now.

Thanks to flipkart for faster delivery and providing what was committed. Package included HP backpack which is average but holds laptop. Its thin, sleek, bit plastic finishing and I am worried if this White colour will look dull after usage of couple of months. Need to handle carefully. Virtualization is disabled. It can play 64-bit Guest images but do not allow you to choose CPU to dedicate to guest. I am yet to play with BIOS settings. I was comparing it with My DELL Latitude which is I5 with two processor and both go hand in hand. Do not see any difference. Windows 8.1 need to learn. I think as our hardware grow stronger OS eats up all that power and at application level we still wonder who is eating my hardware. Overall good laptop , still need to verify its strength.

after using it for one year i m well satisfied with the product of HP its a good buy.. Windows 10 runs smooth..n yeah almost supports all games like gta 5 and grid 2 etc..

The laptop is good. I have played Need for speed which dosen't lags. Heating issues are there which can be cured by using a cooling pad.

Hi I recently purchased this model p045TX from a local shop in Hyderabad for 57K. Verified from HP support that the laptop is genuine. However it has minor difference in appearance compared to the one shown on this site. For example, the trackpad does not have buttons like the one shown in flipkart site. The buttons are invisible and the trackpad can be clicked where the buttons are supposed to be. One cosmetic issue - the black plastic border around the screen is a little bit more wide on the bottom side. (Not evenly distributed like shown in this model) PROS: No complaints so far about the laptop. Sound is good, but it cannot match a pair of external USB speakers. Looks are good and laptop does not heat up in normal use. HP software is good and easy to find the driver updates, warranty status etc online. Keys are very soft touch. Tried running some graphics games like simcity,gta and it is running fine. CONS: There is no VGA port, only HDMI - in case u need to connect to old projectors it could be a problem. Overall happy with the purchase.

Hard-disk is the main downside of this product apart from dual channel ram support. Only good for office work.

The worst thing of this laptop is its graphic card which is gt 840 gddr3 m you can go with the other option which is dell insipiron 15 3537 which has amd radeon 8850m gddr5 and it has i7 4500 u and 1.8ghz which is priced at 58,490 at flipkart .If you are hardcore gamer do not buy hp pavilion 15 p045tx go for dell inspiron 15 3537 because amd radeon 8850m is a way way way faster than 840m

lenovo z50-59428433 is much better option. Why? Because not only looks is better but hardware expandability is there... max ram support in hp is 12 after spending such huge amount. This amount is not small. where as lenovo ram expandability is 16gb LENOVO has 4gb dedicated DDR3 graphic card whereas hp has 2 2gb. Only these two features can increase laptop speed much better than hp
