Huawei has steadily been releasing devices in India under its sub-brand Honor. With this strategy, the brand has managed to place one of its devices in every price segment below Rs. 30,000. The Honor 8 (Review) has been its top-of-the-line device so far, and now it looks like the Honor 8 Pro will take over that position. The Honor 8 Pro sports dual rear cameras and is priced to go up against the new kid on the block, the OnePlus 5 (Review). Honor 8 Pro Summary
The Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. One of its biggest highlights is its dual 12-megapixel rear cameras. Honor has used one RGB sensor and one monochrome sensor to deliver sharper, more detailed photos. Powering the Honor 8 Pro is Huawei's top-of-the-line Kirin 960 processor, plus 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable using a microSD card. This is a dual-SIM device with a hybrid SIM slot, and supports for 4G and VoLTE. It also packs in a 4000mAh battery to power it through the day, despite its relatively slim body.

Great productKrishnendu Bhowmick (Sep 1, 2017) on FlipkartHonor 8 pro is no doubt one of the best phones right now. Everything is better compared to my previous phone le 2. Pros 1. Display - Better than Oneplus 3t an Apple iPhone 7 plus. 2. Ram - 6gb ddr4. I really doubt if anybody uses the whole of it. As no matter whatever I do more than 2.5gb always remains unused. Pretty sad about it 3. Design - Probably the best thing about the phone. This is why I chose it over Oneplus 5. After using it I am sure that I made the right choice. 4. Camera - I only tried the default mode and the pictures are satisfactory. I really have no idea what so many features do. Cons 1. Gaming - I tried Mortal Kombat X. The phone heats up a lot just like le 2. 2. Software - So many inbuilt apps like Facebook, Instagram. I am not in any social media. So had to delete them all. 3. Keys - No key (like back button.). Everything's is on screen (That takes some of screen space.) All the other cons I found are not worth mentioning as I think I will get used to them, just like I prefer back fingerprint scanner more but at fast I didn't used to like it as I was habituated with front one.Is this review helpful?
