This is the third Hitachi Split AC I have purchased. This was a gift for my son. My home already has another 5 star split and two more Hitachi window AC. Since installation I have never had any complaint. Yes, I do annual cleaning and maintainance. That's all. Troublefree service for years.

5 star AC may become a 3 star AC next year - Rating is Not for Home users its for Hospitals, shops and mallsHitachi 1.5 Ton 5 Star Split AC - Excellent In cooling, no need to look back for service also...But costly. Think about price while purchase...This Ac was best in shops which worth 100%, for home purpose we don't need this. Untill unless you like brand.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Things to Remember:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~1.)Don't believe rating, just go for 3 Star AC which is perfect Overall. until unless you use round the clock done go for 5 Star AC.2.) Always prefer 100% Copper Condenser. which is easy to repair and for 100% Cooling ( Aluminium is waste its just for power consumption cooling also like that only)3.) If you really think about environment please make them BAN Immediately instead of selling or buying, don't tell Stories about Environment. if you really bothering about environment there are plenty of Electronics to BAN with immediate effect like mobiles, fridges, plastic, vehicles, etc....(Stop reviewing also - because of reviewing you are using computer which providing radiation, which effects environment too). I am giving 4 star for this Hitachi model. I had purchased this 2 years back. Cooling is great till now. There is only one issue that consumption of energy is high for a 5 star model. So, if you don't bother than go for it. AC is superb. Otherwise, you can purchase inverter AC.

Hitachi never dissapoints when it comes to cooling, or after-sales service. However, remote control functioning s not very pleasing. Sometimes it miss out the on/off command; and one has to try twice or thrice to get it right! Not sure if that is the case with everyone using this model

AC was installed on 02 Jun 17. Cooling is as expected. There is an additional notice from Indoor Unit. Request made to Customer Care and awaiting their service.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE . INSTALLATION WAS A DISASTER , WITH THE GUY BREAKING A HUGE CHUNK OUT OF MY WALL AND THEN SAYING THIS HAPPENS , DEAL WITH IT . ON RUNNING IT FOUND THE NOISE OF THE COMPRESSOR TOOO LOUD AND CAN FEEL IT RESONATING IN MY ROOM AS IT KEEPS SWITCHING ON AND CUTTING OFF TO MAINTAIN THE TEMPERATURE . I WOULD SUGGEST GOING FOR OTHER JAPANESE BRANDS LIKE DAIKIN AND MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC . THEY ARE WORTH THE EXTRA BUCKS .I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO GET STARTED TO GET MY ISSUE RESOLVED OF THE COMPRESSOR MAKING SO MUCH NOISE .

Not doing perfect cooling,and not meeting my expectations.i bought it because of Hitachi name but feel Volta's is better than this

Poor installation and they delivered a defective item, this is not expected from brands like hitachi and hvaing used hitachi acs prior this is a worst experience

Hitachi Product Works for Exactly 365 days and stopsI purchased a Hitachi AC. Exactly after 1 year of purchase, it stopped working.The service centre phone is busy almost always. (Probably because of large number of complaints).After 11 attempts I could get through with the service centre numbers.The company refuses to accept that on the day AC conged off (Yesterday), it was within warranty.Now they will send a technician for a fee of Rs. 500/- for just visiting.They will send this technician within 48 hours. So I am blessed with two sweating sleepless nights because I made a great choice of buying a Hitachi product.Kudos to Hitachi engineers - their product works for exactly 365 days.

No Duct pipe supplied by Amazon. You ultimately loose 1000 rs, Normal product with high price tag. Just avoid it

After installation on second day only it started giving problem, indoor unit is throwing water inside the room. Not sure if it product issue or installation issue.

Horrible experience a big hole on my wall during installation. The seller send me a defective piece, the left hand vertical swing does not work. Had to call Hitachi service centre and found out the motor for swing is dead. I am totally disappointed with Amazon on listing such sellers who send defective piece. Will never buy any costly appliances from Amazon anymore. Pathetic very bad experience..

Please don't take Hitachi ac I brought 2 ton ac after 10 days there's water leakage problem from front of the ac .I called several time to Hitachi customer care but it was worth , time loss money loss everything is lossed by me so please my friend and colleague don't take Hitachi please if you want to call to know detail call in 07387625927

Ac indoor unit has been broken to service centre team...
