Amazingly energy efficient!!

Initially I was sceptical about my decision,as we live on 8th floor in Dwarka,1.2 ton ac for a 150 sq.ft. room ....I was not sure whether ac will be effective... but now it's being used daily in my son's room and it's literally chilling even when kept at 27�C. So I would say it's a wow product.I made the right decision in buying a Hitachi ,5 star inverter ac,it's competing with our O'General 1.5 ac's installed earlier in other rooms.

Outstanding performance.

1.2 ton hitachi 5star inverter ac is very nice. I perched it from a retail shop by giving Rs 38700 including installation.

Cooling capacity is excellent as well as power consumption is remarkable.

I regret Buying this product.1) It is not energy efficient at all - don't blindly believe BEE star rating as I did - I got double the electricity bill than my OLD non-inverter AC.2) Worst remote I have ever used - No back light, Buttons are not visible at night - You have to switch on your lights only then you can operate. You will not know currently the options are active or inactive. No display on AC indoor unit to confirm the same or no indication on remove to see if the feature is on or off (Example Swing is ON or OFF - you have to wait for few seconds and see if swing is moving actually and then toggle)3) There is no option to disable Auto ON feature - if Power is gone and later you locked your home. When you come back your AC will be running.4) You have to keep cleaning the filter every week otherwise it will not coll the room properly.

Within 2days of installation, ac gas leaked. Hitachi said that they do not give warranty for this product as it is a old model
