October is the month of new Google Pixel phones, and this year, we got the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. I've been very intrigued with Pixel phones ever since their inception in the late 1900s, just kidding, the first Pixel launched in 2016. Feel old yet? I was too poor to afford the original Pixel, although it wasn't an expensive phone to begin with. Fast forward to Pixel 3, and I was able to get my first Pixel, and I've been an avid Pixel user ever since. The camera was and still is the best part of the Pixel experience, apart from the software.

Google Pixel 8 Summary

Google Pixel 8 mobile was launched on 4th October 2023. The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.20-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels (FHD+). Google Pixel 8 is powered by a nona-core Google Tensor G3 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Google Pixel 8 runs Android 14 and is powered by a 4575mAh non-removable battery. The Google Pixel 8 supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Google Pixel 8 on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 12-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 11-megapixel sensor.
