Ubisoft, a popular video game developer and publisher, announced the Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection on Monday. The video game collection includes three games from the popular franchise, namely Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD.
The price of the video game collection is yet to be revealed. However, the game creator confirmed that the Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection will hit shelves on October 3 in Europe (where it will be called Assassin's Creed: Birth of a New World - The American Saga) and October 28 in North America. Notably, October 28 was the former release date of Assassin's Creed: Unity.
It is worth noting that the Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection will be available for PC, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 consoles only. Also, the availability of DLC content of the three Assassin's Creed video games is still not known.
Last month Ubisoft announced that the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Unity will be delayed by two weeks, and will release alongside Assassin's Creed: Rogue on November 11 in the US and on November 13 in EMEA countries.
The extra two weeks were said to allow the Ubisoft team some time to make minor adjustments in Assassin's Creed: Unity which will later make a "big difference."
It is worth noting that while Assassin's Creed: Rogue will be available for Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles, the Assassin's Creed: Unity will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Last month, Ubisoft also released an iOS game called Assassin's Creed Memories.
