The Best Deals of the Steam Winter Sale

Not even a month has passed since its last sale, and Steam's end of the year sale - or the Steam Winter Sale as it is popularly known as - is here. The sale kicked off late Tuesday night in India, and will last till 11:30pm IST on January 4.

As reported earlier, Steam has revised its sale pricing policy since November and you don't need to wait day and night any more to get the best discount possible. The prices displayed on the games now will last for the entirety of the sale period.

There are a whole host of deals across the board - sci-fi, strategy and even simulators. Here are some of the best deals hand-picked by Gadgets 360:

Cities: Skylines - Rs. 291 (60% off)
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Rs. 239 (50% off)
Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition - Rs. 899 (40% off)
Dying Light - Rs. 1,019 (66% off)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Rs. 141 (75% off)
Grand Theft Auto V - Rs. 1762 (40% off)
Rocket League - Rs. 395 (30% off)
Sid Meier's Civilization V - Rs. 374 (75% off)

Steam is also trying to cash on the Star Wars fever. All the Star Wars games it owns - from Force Unleashed to Knights of the Old Republic - are available at a large discount and featured on the home page. At the same time, Steam has strayed away from offering too much or anything at all on the year's popular games, such as Fallout 4, Undertale and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
