Floaty physics car-meets-football (and occasionally basketball) game Rocket League has become a sensation of sorts in its first year and a little more, now being played by 18 million unique players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PCs. It's even been adopted as an e-sport with multiple tournaments, one of which - the Rocket League Championship Series - concluded its first season this weekend.
At the end of the event, as promised, developer Psyonix unveiled an upcoming game mode in the Rumble update, which will see the introduction of some wacky power-ups such as the Boot (allowing you to kick an opponent mid-air) or the Swapper (it changes your position on the field with someone else). Here is a complete list of the 11 total power-ups you will come across if you decide to fire up the new mode, courtesy the official website:
You can check out some of these power-ups in the trailer, or wait till next month to find out for yourself. Rocket League Rumble will be a free update for the successful game, and will be available for both offline and online matches.
