Insomniac Games is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Ratchet and Clank this fall by introducing a new game in the franchise titled Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault for the PlayStation 3. The announcement, which came via a PlayStation blog, revealed that the game will be available exclusively on the PlayStation Store.

Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault retains the traditional look and feel of the series along with the camera, controls and weapons while offering new features. Online integration will also allow players to experience the game with family and friends.

That's not all. The company is also treating fans with the launch of an HD remaster of the classic PS2 Ratchet and Clank games this summer. It will comprise of the first three games in the series with HD visuals and stereoscopic 3D support. The collection is due in a couple of weeks. Pricing and other details of the collection's release are yet to be confirmed.
