A new adventure from a galaxy far far away is set to debut at E3 this year. Spike TV and Lucas Arts have announced a new Star Wars game franchise that will be revealed at the Game Trailers Spike TV show on May 31. Spike TV is likely to screen the first gameplay footage on June 4, the day of the E3 Press conference. There are no further details of what the game is expected to be like.

The news comes at a time when subscribers of The Old Republic have been declining and to mention that the previous game titled Kinect Star Wars wasn't too extraordinary either.

On May 1 this year, the company had filed a trademark application and registered domains for Star Wars 1313, which was believed to be the new project title. But neither Lucas Arts nor Spike TV are confirming anything more than the pre-E3 show at this moment.
